divorce is at over 50%
a man can't truly love a woman who thinks she is his equal that would make him gay
if a woman is submissive and does not try to wear the pants, they can get along much better
few American woman get this but there are some who do GOD LOVE EM

christrians, do you condone this? if not are you willing to straiten out your fellow beleiver or allow him to continue with his warped view of your religious rules?

After many years as a christian I was once attending a christian couples dinner when the subject of polygyny came up.While it was the consensus---esp among the women--that monogamy was the only acceptable christian marriage, even the pastor had to admit that there is no explicit law against it. It could only be inferred. Paul said "Where there is no law, no sin is to be imputed." I answered. I was then showered with cliche answers and false analogies.

So I decided to study bibles on my own. I therein discovered that neither christ nor anything in the OT forbade polygyny. That prompted me to begin to wonder about the veracity of the books themselves. And the more I studied them, their origins, the borrowing from other religions, and how the books were compiled, the less I believed.

Now I am a very happy apostate commited to freeing the world from all religion one person at a time. If you need help leaving christinsanity see the Skeptical Review Online or contact me.

God is omniscient
God knew that before he created man that they would eat of the tree of knowledge.
God placed the tree of knowledge in the Garden anyway.
God wanted sin to enter the world.

He knew what would happen. Why place the forbidden trees in the Garden in the first place?

This clearly shows the love and forgiveness of god.
Here read for yourself the kindness and love of this magic sky-pixie;

Isaiah 13:15-18
"Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children."

The love, the tenderness, it really brings a tear to your eye doesn't it?

I'm disturbed by the number of users throwing filth and muck and relying on what appears to be a made-up source to try to prove that the Pope is the antichrist or some nonesense like this.

My reasons for believing there is no such thing as New York Catechism:
1) The Library of Congress (search.loc.gov) does not list it.
2) NONE of the on-line bookseller catalogues lists it.
3) A web search pulls only TWO quotes, and only anti-Catholic sites list them. The quotes are:
a> "The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth…being judged by no one, God himself on earth."
b> "I must tell my sins to the priest so that he will give me absolution."

If the NY Catechism exists (and is anything like the voluminous tome "The Catechism of the Catholic Church"), why are there only these two quotes?

So, let me get this straight. Jesus was executed to save the human race because we are all sinners. (And that includes everyone who ever walked the earth supposedly, before, during and after the execution) Now how does that work exactly? He gets punished because of us and somehow all our sins magically go away?

What kind of sense does it make for god to
a) give us the ability to sin
b) tell us not to sin or else
c) send his son to get killed for our sins
d) still allow us to sin AFTER his son was killed for our sins
e)punish us for not believing he sent his son to be murdered for our sins
f) leave the telling of this magical story to a bunch of humans who can't get the story straight with out contradicting themselves?

Why exactly should Jesus have to suffer for the sins of others? Do you punish your daughter when your son commits a crime?

I work for a Catholic organization and I design book covers and set up books (mostly religious books). I am setting up a book right now and was reading a paragraph that states that "In vitro fertilization depersonalizes sex, along with birth control, abortion, and various other sexual sins, is wrong." Well what about the people that have a hard time concieving? Could something like this really be wrong?
