Only the Catholic church says that. That's one of the stupid man-made theologies that caused me to leave.

If God only wanted us to have sex to reproduce then we would only get horny when our women are ovulating. Birth control is an unnatural prevention of conception. God created homosexuals to prevent reproduction in this overpopulated world, oh and to add a lot of color, create the height of fashion etc... The world is really overpopulated and increasingly so. Anything that prevents more unwanted children from entering into it is a good thing. God created us, so he created the mentality that created birth control. So in the end, it's all God's plan. Personally, I think the whole world should turn totally gay for about 10 years so we can clean up the mess created by people who keep popping out babies in poverty in the name of God.

Because the Lord Christ, was with him from the beginning, and when Christ came to earth, through his blood, all those that we believe in Him, have become children's of God as well. Did you forgot that? Every time some one accept the Lord Jesus is a new born person and child of God.
You are comparing Spirit with Flesh? Don't become foolish like does that says that there is no God.

All the angels are called sons of the true God in the book of Job and God has millions and millions of angels. Nothing wrong with birth control except with people claiming abortion is birth control when it really is murder.

God did not "stop at having one child" by engaging in acts that are contradictory to His natural design.
"Stop at one" is language that should be reserved only for people with regard to having sexual relationships. It does not apply to God, and it's misguided to compare ourselves to God or to draw analogies to Him in order to justify questionable behavior.
By the way, there's nothing in the Bible, there's nothing in Catholic teaching, and (as far as I know) there's nothing in any relgion's teaching that says that you "have to keep having children."
Catholic teaching simply says that each conjugal act should remain as open as possible to the procreation of new life. That's all.
It doesn't mean you have to have babies -- there may be a medical condition that prevents it, or the woman may be in her infertile period, or the sperm may simply fail to fertilize the egg.
But as long as you don't deliberately try to cut off the possibility of procreation with artificial means, you're in the clear. It's a myth that God says that you have to "keep on having children to please Him."

Because God doesn't continually have sex and use birth control to block reproduction. Jesus was immaculately conceived, very different than regular conception.

Who knows... maybe it was just a rule church made because it seemed indecent or weird to them. I don't think God wanted to overpopulate the world and vanish forests and animals because we need more space where to live.

The RC church doesn't say you have to have more than one child, it says you can't use birth control. Those are different things.

i dont know that it does bother him. i had myself cut after the birth of our fourth child. that was all the children we wanted at that time.
now we are looking at adopting twin girls.
besides, with one kid who can rule all the universe, why would you need another one?
