divorce is at over 50%
a man can't truly love a woman who thinks she is his equal that would make him gay
if a woman is submissive and does not try to wear the pants, they can get along much better
few American woman get this but there are some who do GOD LOVE EM

As a Christian, I don't condone this way of thinking. He's got it a little misconstrued (as do you regarding the Christian religion as a whole). Wives are helpmates, flesh of flesh, bone of bone. The same can be said of husbands. While I agree that a saved man should lead his household in a Godly manner, I disagree with the old dude's take on the whole thing. Thank goodness we have people representing us with such backwards ways of thinking. We'll ALWAYS keep up or reputation of being ignorant with guys like him. Thumbs up!

That is messed up, some people take the bible too literally. Divorce is not rising because of that, divorce is rising because the institution no longer means what it used to. The Church has been taken out of marriage and marriage is nothing more than a peice of paper to people anymore. It means nothing, people get married on a whim or mistake the feeling of lust for love.

Here is your answer from the BIBLE:

(1 Peter 3:1-7) In like manner, YOU wives, be in subjection to YOUR own husbands, in order that, if any are not obedient to the word, they may be won without a word through the conduct of [their] wives, because of having been eyewitnesses of YOUR chaste conduct together with deep respect...but let it be the secret person of the heart in the incorruptible [apparel] of the quiet and mild spirit, which is of great value in the eyes of God. ...as Sarah used to obey Abraham, calling him “lord.” And YOU have become her children, provided YOU keep on doing good and not fearing any cause for terror.

YOU husbands, continue dwelling in like manner with them according to knowledge, assigning them honor as to a weaker vessel, the feminine one, since YOU are also heirs with them of the undeserved favor of life, in order for YOUR prayers not to be hindered.
