This is the logical endpoint of when pride overcomes all else.
Someone decides that that know better than anyone what's best for everyone. Any who will not embrace their truth are obviously against them and therefore evil. Evil must be destroyed. So they go bomb the bejazzus out of everybody.
The correct respnse to people of this ilk is to give them what they so obviously want, a world of their own without any "unbelievers" cluttering up the place. Since we can't, as yet, spin them offplanet in a gigantic spaceship, next best thing is to send them to the next world, ie the afterlife. They'll probably be happier without us and I'm sure we'll be happier without them.

The types of devastations that Mumbai witnessed on 7/11/2006 is just one of the thousands of incidents India has gone through. Though staying in the US we get to see and hear only what the media portrays and as mentioned in http://ia.rediff.com/news/2006/jul/12nri.htm?q=tp&file=.htm , not much we can do about it sitting here; one thing that I have decided is to stop spending any of my money at any Pakistani restaurant/store which would potentially aid the ruthless acts. May be my I am very critical in my comments and I am not sure how helpful my resolution would be for the cause I have in mind; but I shall certainly not be the NRI who thinks "There is nothing I can do, and it hurts"

This was a terrible thing, and it was done for the beliefs of a false religion.
More importantly, I would like to share with you the Truth about the afterlife. I only tell you this because I care what will happen to you when you die. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, used God’s name in vain? These are just a few of God’s Moral Laws. When you die, God will judge you on the basis of His Moral Law. If you stand guilty before God of breaking His Laws, He will have to send you to Hell. God must punish lawbreakers. The good news is that God provided a way for you to be forgiven and go to Heaven. Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again to pay the debt for your sins and take your punishment. What you must do is Repent, which means to say you are sorry to God and turn away from your sins. Then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be accepted into Heaven, not because you’re a good person, but because you’re a bad person who’s been forgiven. Please give this some thought. Your Eternal Destination depends on it.

Zondo's a moron. I've never heard of a missionary who passed out Bibles without doing something tangible for the people he/she is helping. He's probably the same person who accuses missionaries of converting through the usage of food. You can't have it both ways.
It's incredibly sad that people are being killed in the name of religion. What's important to remember is that it is not the religion that is to blame- it is the people doing evil in the name of religion. Each one of us is born with choice, regardless of religious beliefs.

I know how you feel...UK, USA and India have now been targetted and many lives have been lost
It's intriguing they picked india: india is one of the countries with a large cultural range and the largest populations of muslims, and by bombing one of its leading cities, not only have the terrorists killed hindus, sikhs, christians and jews...they have also killed many muslims...guess they are not going to achieve nirvana after all (!)
Osama's dirty work is spreading all over the world....but someday, my friend, he will be stopped

sorry to hear this! I would hope human life i more important but these zealots out there do not think that they are wrong when they hurt others with these bombs. They are brainwashed and told that they will be closer to god when they kill themselves. It saddens me to learn about these senseless acts of violence.

You'll be surprised. Over 1000 years ago Christians put to death thousands of people for not being christian, and they were the first ones to be persecuted, but they started to grow...ironic huh?

there is noexplaining what some people do. it is not right. no,, human life is priceless. i believe some people are sadly misinformed and brainwashed to believe what they are doing is ok. taking a life is a sin. you just have to have faith that everything will work out.
