No, she's just trying to justify being a homosexual, which the Bible thoroughly condemns, not just in Romans.

The Bible also says that whoever has lusted in their hearts has committed adultery, so NO! This is NOT true. Don't you know by now that most gay people will twist the words of God all around until it suits their purpose (just as most of us do to justify our sins. Gays aren't the only ones guilty of this). There are so many verses in the Bible about homosexuality being a sin and an abomination to the Lord and how He hates homosexuality. You just quoted a couple verses about it. There are whole chapters on this subject. In the old testament God said that homosexuals were to be put to death. If you would like, I could send you several scriptures about the subject. email me , and we can talk about it. God loves the homosexual. They are no worse a sinner than the rest of us, but as I said, they twist the Word of God to justify their sins.

That religion says to love and that God is love, but then there are plenty of verses that 'hate' this or that. But, I think the people who wrote the OT were unanimous in being homophobes. I'm sure she'll wake up to reality and realize she's not going to be condemned for being made any certain way. Whether she lusts or loves. But, if she is promiscuos, that could get her into trouble anyway. But that would be based on historical fact, not myth.

Well Kaite God Sees same sex relations as an Abomination. I'm sure if you post this on the religious side of things some one will quote the exact scripture for you. I grew up in church I've got to knkow people who stated they were Gay until Christ came into thier life and he realized he was living in Sin. He did change his ways. Most Gay people will say he wasn't really gay, or he wasn't born that way. He said he though he was until he found Christ. God does condem Sex between same sexs. I'm sure I will catch some bashing for this but whateve, people hated Jesus so someone will get pissed at me I'm sure.

no

I dont thing a woman or man has sex without some sort of intense passion or feeling or desire. you know someone is really in denial when they claim the Bible condemns love

I think she was backed into a corner and grabbed onto the first excuse she could. Give her space and let her think it over
respect her choices as a friend and love her as a friend.

I think that God does not actually condemn love. He told us to love. I believe it is the physical response to the love that He condemns. Love is a feeling, an emotion, that are not easy to change sometimes. Sex is a DECISION to act on the feelings.

In the biblical sense. No. Sex is part of the sin lust in christianity, but throwing bible verses at her isn't going to change who she's attracted to. Just let her be, and if she thinks in the future she is doing wrong than she'll change her mind. But don't get in the way of what she believes.

They just condemn love..not sex? what kind of point is that? Sex exists with love. Sinnful people abuse sex but love should always exist before sex. (Marriage for example-duh)
