Do you believe we have a free will to choose? Like having milk in our coffee or not in the morinin? Well if you do its a good argument for God.
Suppose we didnt have a soul and all our thoughts came from our brain. Our brain is matter. Matter can be predicted. Molecules colide in our brain much like billjart balls do. So if I knew every position speed and direction of the molecules in your brain, I could predict the next thought and there was no free choice. The whole of science is based on the fact that matter is predictable. Its a proven fact. So we need to have a soul or spirit. If that is true then its a strong case for God excisting.

Another one is this one.
What caused the universe to exist? From nothing comes nothing, no matter how much time there is. Only from something comes something. So there was always something because there is something now. If there was never anything, then there would still be nothing now, and that is not the case.
Now if there was always something it has to be intelligent, cause only an agent could cause the start of an event.
Like domino stones in a row, the last one falls because the previous one fell. A previous event causes a next event. Always. But what caused the first event? How did the first domino fall? It must have been pushed. You might argue it was the wind, but then you say the fall of the first dominoo stones was caused again by another previous event, so what caused the wind? There is no way you can get out of it unless there was an intelligent agent causing the first event. And that agent had to be the eternal existing cause of everything.

In the big bang theory they are vague or even avoiding about what caused the big bang. Cause there stuck with this problem.

God has saved me so many times. I'll just list a couple:
1) When I was little, my parents would always take me to see the air shows where the planes do those stunts. Well, one year, in Germany we had plans to go and my parents were getting ready so we could leave. At the last minute, my dad felt like something or someone was telling him not to go. At first he thought he was just imagining things, but it kept on. So he just decided to give in, and we stayed home. The next day, we were all in the living room, and my parents were watching the news like they always did. Guess what they saw? At the very air show where we were going to go, two of the planes were performing the stunt where they fly toward each other, and one plane goes under the other. Well, they accidentally hit each other, and the fuel immediately came down and wiped out half the audience. It was horrible, very sad. I still feel sick about it. I am so grateful that we didn't go. I wouldn't be where I am now, my brothers and sisters never would have been born, I never would have met my husband, and my gorgeous baby boy wouldn't be here either.
2) A couple of years ago, I was getting ready to leave work. I always walked home from work. I clocked out and headed up front to leave, when I started thinking about one of my friends. I felt a sudden need to write him a letter, but I just shrugged it off. But then I felt like something was telling me that I needed to do it right then. I figured it was because, like always, if I didn't do it then I would forget what I needed to tell him. So I went back to the back and wrote the letter. It took me about 5 minutes to write. When I got back up front, I noticed something going on out front and asked what happened. Somebody told me that there was a crash. Apparently, two cars collided when one ran the red light, and they both spun back, one right toward the spot where I normally walk. I asked them when it happened, and they said, "About 5 minutes ago."
Need I say more?

What about the prayers God hasn't answered? What about children being killed by psychos and sick demented people even though their parents, friends, relatives and everyone else prayed their hearts out? If you are going to say God exists by the prayers that God answered then the other times God didn't exist for you?

God is a spirit and exists within us. God has no magical powers or strengths.

I don't know if this answers your question or not, but one of the main reasons that I believe in Christianity is that the people who knew Jesus were willing to be tortured to death rather than change their story that they saw Jesus return from the dead.

If the apostles were lying about seeing the resurrected Christ, then why didn't they take back their story when they were individually being tortured to death? Every one of the apostles (Except John, who died a natural death in exile on Patmos), were killed for their faith. Wouldn't a liar recant this story to save his own life?

What did the apostles have to gain by making it all up? What good does fame do for a dead person?

I accept the apostles' story because the witnesses were creditable.

How do you know those things that the "prayer" answered wouldn't have happened anyway? It's like superstition...if I wear the same shirt on game day and I have a good game, then I keep wearing it. Now, do you really think the shirt I wore in the car on the way to the rink had ANYTHING to do with how well I played? No, the shirt didn't matter. But I like to think it did.

ITs quite simple in my mind... God is real.. The reason is in front of everyone. Sure, you can say that we evolved, but does that really make sense... In the thosands of years that humans have been recorded is there one case of a human transforming into a new species? the answer is no. And when your walking around and you get this feeling you think thats instincts? or is it the power of God leading you in the right direction. Most of the time when you follow your instincts things work out alright. If not its a trial. So thus in my mind is there a God.. is not a question.

Hey, that's a really good question!!

Well, God saved my life when I was on our boat a while ago. My Dad forgot to pull the anchor up and we were going along at top speed, and then the anchor flew out of the water high into the air, and missed my head by only inches (the rope hit my neck and gave me ropeburn) it hit the boat right next to me and gashed it big time! If it hit me I would be dead. Why didn't it hit me? Because God takes care of me!

Hope this is a good answer!

Have a wonderful day!!!

amazing coincidences, no . God, yes. Isn't it amazing that we are communicating like this. People from near and far all able to share information in a heartbeat. Science and math go far in this world, but if the world were not what it is science and math would do no good in getting us anywhere. Who else could create an environment where so much is possible?

Because I can't think of any other explanation for why things happened the way they did. It's hard for me to understand things like the universe goes on forever but after a while it just is nothing.. I keep thinking that there has to be something outside of it, but then there's something else outside of it! I can't say i'm not engostic because really I am, but sometimes that seems like a good reason to believe.
