Stop it okay it's not nice to kill innocent people for what you believe in. Believe in what you want, but leave other people alone.

You are correct that killing innocents is wrong. Sadly, several are your assumptions are incorrect - they are:
1.) People, left to themselves, are inherently good and will do the right thing.
2.) Everyone is innocent.
When you realize the self-deception involved with these two assumptions, it will allow you to understand mankind's basic problem.

Well, it's easy for one to call one's self "religious" and still act in such a way. I don't know if one can say they are "good" at their religion, though.
And I agree - killing in God's name is just wasteful, illogical, and plain stupid.

Many will claim to be doing works in his name, but they are not doing God's will. Be more specific about your question.
