No.
If God created all things, he also created viruses. The poor viruses are just trying to live. It's not their fault that they transfer so easily through sex.
Besides, we are animals. Some animals mate for life, but most don't. Since they aren't being punished for allowing the alpha male to be the only one impregnating all the females (usually), we aren't either... we just *think* we are.
... so no need to stand in judgement of those with an STD. It's not really your place, anyway.

God's punishment for sexual immorality will come at the same time as His punishment for every other sin - when He comes back to judge the world.
STD's are caused by naturally existing pathogens. I've known some truly wonderful Christians whose spouses have brought some nice STD's home to them. So how do they fit in with that punishment thing?

No. The logic in saying so is completely flawed. STDs are a likely consequence of sexual promiscuity, but to view it as God's way of punishing those that do has some holes in the logic.
Look at the plethora of diseases out there that have come to plague the human race. Can you call any of those diseases a punishment for a specific action? You really can't.
If you were to look at it from a religious perspective, STDs along with many other types of diseases are a consequence of sin rather than a punishment from God. Our bodies are no longer perfect like they used to be, and thus we are left vulnerable to many ailments.

NO! They are not punishment, they are a consequence. There are consequences for ALL actions, good or bad. Diseases are a consequence of the fall of man, and any germ can mutate.
You are right, they are a pathogen, commonly spread in sexual conduct, which is immorality out of the covering of marraige.
Immorality is a choice, which if not repented of, will bring the Ultimate Punishment.
Some forms of feminine cancer can be caused from too much sexual activity, especially in younger women. That can even be within a marraige.

Thinking that STD's are a punishment from God is a primitive, superstitious way of thinking that needs to be phased out. Take a course or two in biology and pay attention when they discuss how infectious diseases originate.
Believe in science, at least it can be proven right, not some outdated fairy tale.

You could see it that way if you want.
Plenty of rape victims (little girls most notably) get them though, so I wouldn't want to put that on God' shoulders. Also, MANY people received HIV from blood transfusions before it was screened for. ANY human contact is a good way to spread disease. Many business men, like Donald Trump consider handshaking to be disgusting, bordering on immoral, for this reason, prefering the Asian practice of bowing. You understand how much more intimate sexual contact is-- there is both contact and an exchange of bodily fluids -- than a handshake, and why it is so easy for illness to spread that way.

whether or not its Gods way or some others (i believe the former) STD's happen when you go against what naturally should happen. it should be evident, in all morality cases, that there is always a consequence for choosing to do something not good, whether it is lying, cheating, having sex with too many people, or whatever. you would thnk that if something bad comes out of of doing an action, you wouldnt do it right? yet people still do...
i know this is kinda scatterbrained, but i hope you get the gist of what im trying to express.

Well what about cancer? What immoral behaviour does one do to be inflicted with this disease? In otherwords STD's are not a punishment for sexual immorality. We should not be ashamed to be human, to have sexual desires. It is one of the few pleasures we have in life to enjoy. Why should we be punished for our natural sexual desires, which stem from reproduction?

No I dont think that its God's punishment because sex is good, clean, healthy and fun. Sexual Immorality refers to rape, forcing against one's will, it refers to the harm that it does to another person. if you chooses to carelessly sleep around than they have a higher chance of STD's cause of more exposure. God looks at the heart not what you do or don't do.
