Since God created the Heavens and the Earth and all things known to Man, and He is all knowing and doesn't make mistakes in His master plan...then when He created Adam and Eve he KNEW that the serpent (Satan/Lucifer) would tempt Eve AND that Adam would give in and take of the fruit of the Tree of Knowlege and relize that they were naked AND that He (God) would eventually banish Adam and Eve from Paradise (The Garden of Eden). If He knew all of this, then all of what happened after isn't Mans doing it's Gods. And if all of this were in God's Master Plan then what do you think of Him now?

Man was the greatest creation and unto them he gave free will. We are not given a free ticket you know, we have to earn it.

Since God created the Heavens and the Earth and all things known to Man, (correct) and He is all knowing and doesn't make mistakes in His master plan (also correct)...then when He created Adam and Eve he KNEW that the serpent (Satan/Lucifer) would tempt Eve AND that Adam would give in and take of the fruit of the Tree of Knowlege and relize that they were naked AND that He (God) would eventually banish Adam and Eve from Paradise (The Garden of Eden). (Yes, He knew all of that). If He knew all of this, then all of what happened after isn't Mans doing it's Gods. And if all of this were in God's Master Plan then what do you think of Him now?

You failed to mention the most beautiful part of God's Master Plan. The part where He loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for us so that we could be redeemed and have the choice to join Him in Heaven.

You forgot to add the part about how He is passionately in love with you and He longs to hold you in His arms and lavish wonderful gifts on you and how He wants to spend eternity with you. That's why He paid the price He did.

You also forgot to mention that sin originated in Heaven.

Your reasoning is faulty as well. How can you blame God for the choices you make, the choices Adam and Eve made, etc? That's part of the beauty of His plan. If He forced us to do right, it wouldn't be love. If he just refused to create us, it wouldn't be love. But He DOES love us, and He allowed us to live and to make bad choices, and then HE paid for them. That is SO AWESOME! Do you know anyone who loves you that much? Would you like to?

It is true that God is perfect. It is true that God does not make mistakes. Most people have an imperfect understanding of the word perfect. Only God is perfect in the absolute sense. Adam and Eve, however, were perfect in the sense of meeting the standard for which they were created, the word perfect carries the sense of being complete and whole as to the purpose for which the creation was intended. It is in this sense that Adam and Eve were perfect. There was no defect in them. The dictionary will help you understand the word perfect.

As for God being all-knowing, it is true that he is capable of knowing things beforehand. This is another area where people misunderstand. God is selective and discretionary in the use of his ability to foreknow. If he CHOOSES to know an outcome beforehand, he does so. So because this ability is exercised selectively, he in fact did NOT know that Adam, Eve and Satan would disobey.

As to free will, many people want to arbitrarily define this as the ability to choose WITHOUT negative consequences. Some people do not feel that free will can be exercised in a context where laws are in place to govern behavior. In other words, people seem to equate "free will" with "commission of an act with impunity." Free will is not defined by the results of our conduct or act. Free will is defined as the ability to choose the conduct or act irrespective of the consequences or reward.

Free will to make a choice and subsequent consequences of the choice made are NOT coterminous. Is there a law against the sexual abuse of children? If someone rapes a five year old little girl because he has a deviant way that “forces” him to do so, do we feel this rapist should not be punished when he is caught? Do we feel that deviant gene or deviant disorder “forced” him to do it and he really had no free will in the matter? Or, if someone puts a gun to a man’s and tells him he must rape that five year old little girl or he will die, do we feel the one with the gun should be punished? Do we feel the one who has the gun to his head and is “forced” to rape the five year old child should be punished? Or do we say, “well, that was not free will, he had no choice – he HAD to rape the child – there was a gun to his head! Or is it not so that we punish both the one with the gun and the rapist?

Had God made Adam and Eve INCAPABLE of doing wrong, they would have been robots, as one poster mentioned. Robots are not human. Free will, by definition, is the ability to choose wrongly as well as rightly. If people were properly taught what God is doing to remove all wickedness and heartache in this world, instead of being taught that he planned all this heartache and evil and is therefore responsible for it, perhaps they would be moved to learn how they can benefit from such.

What do I think of God now? Someone took the time to teach me the actual Master Plan of God and I think it is wonderful. I am also delighted that it is already in place and moving toward total fulfillment.

OK so you know a small portion of the story. But obviously not enough.
Genesis 2:15
The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.

This means that God put man in charge of the earth giving man free will to do as he wishes.
This also explains why everybody till this very day have their own free will to serve God or not. God gave the earth as a gift for man to rule over and God doesn't take a gift back.
We were fortunate that He did however, stepped in and made the decision to send His Son to fix things and make an easier way of salvation for us.

You need to come up with a better question. All these jackoffs are gonna tell you is "free will" - the cop out of the century.

A better question is this: Why did God put Adam and Eve into a garden that had the Tree of Knowledge in it, then refuse them to eat the fruit of knowledge? What exactly was God hiding from man? Why does he not want us to know the truth/have knowledge? What is the truth?? THAT IT IS ALL A LIE.

Did you know that He never says that He's All-knowing/Omniscient, and All-powerful/Omnipotent anywhere in the Bible? There are references to Him being perfect, and knowing more than we do, and understanding things on a different level, but that doesn't mean He's Omnipotent/Omniscient, literally. And no, this does not make me a heratic or blasphemer, you fundamentalist extremists!
It has been interpreted (by other humans, who are all imperfect, and less enlightened and less intelligent than God) that His perfection must include Ominpotence and Omniscience, since they're what we are not. But even if that is so, that doesn't mean it means what we think it must mean anyway. Remember, Natural Laws are Universal, meaning they apply to God as well; they're His! He can't break His own laws.
I'm the most amused by people who try to put specific definitions on a God that weren't part of the standard canon that these definitions and interpretations are based on (aka the Bible), and still others who then take evidence that contradicts these extraneous definitions and interpretations of God and conclude that He must not exist because He didn't get a perfect score on the GSAT that someone else wrote for Him and took on His behalf.
As for Adam and Eve, it doesn't say in the Bible that any of that was not what He expected to happen in the first place. In my way of thinking, this is just another version of the "why do bad things happen to good people?" question. The answer is simple: we are given our agency to make choices, learn from our choices/mistakes as much as possible while here, and show our willingness and ability to follow His rules, all by Faith, not by Knowledge. Any direct interference on His part is akin (distantly) to a scientist fiddling around with his own experiment to get the results he wants/expects. The strength we gain from surviving difficulties and overcoming challenges is another benefit to us from Him "allowing" them to occur.
And that's all I have to say about that...

God gave man (and woman) the gift of free will. He did not put us here as puppets. It is all included in the ultimate plan! There was a purpose for Adam and Eve's sin and there was a purpose for Satan to become a fallen angel. If you really want to know the answer, read the Bible, it explains it all. If you don't really want to know the answer, and you're asking for any other reason, then it doesn't really matter what anyone says here, does it!

God, as I know the existence, never would accept the stories in the bible. Nonsense with what they brainwashed people for centuries. Some words have strength but you can hear them daily from the mouth of non-believers. There is no plan! God doesn´t need us! You are part of him or it if You want. Not because you accept a book means You are going to find God! You can become a small working molecule from the spiritual existence of God. That´s all, there is nothing to loose or to win. It is just like going back home from where You came. You only have to find the road! leymemphis@yahoo.com.mx

Do you think you will sway a believer with the question that's been posed a million times? You're not that original.

If God would have created Adam and Eve so that they couldn't choose, then we would have been robots. God made us in his image, and he gave us the freedom of choice. Knowing this he still made us, so that we could either turn to Him or not. It is not a flawed plan, nor a mistake.

Simple.

It was Adam and Eve that made the mistake.

IN SPITE

the fact that He

KNEW,

that they would sin he chose to make them anyway because of His love for His children.

Just because they brought upon mankind does not make God a mistake maker.

Just because He made the devil evil from the get go, does not make God a mistake maker.

By the way Lucifer is

NOT,

the devil

Lucifer

WAS

the king of Babylon.

The scripture says this regarding Lucifer.

Take up this proverb against the

KING OF BABYLON.

It does

NOT

say,

take up this proverb against Satan.

Misunderstanding..! :)

God created good and evil, and gave you the choice to choose.

But when God created Adam & Eve, He also created choise, He warned them too, "Do not eat from that tree, and do not listen to satan".

But because God knows best, He knew that Adam & Eve will fall.

It doesn't mean that if God knows everything, that He's being unjust. Because he already warned.
