Seriously, it's two approaches to the same solution, make people be good. It seems like a satan who wants the world to sin would not punish them but reward people for immoral acts. I am not suggesting people sin, or worship the devil, but doesn't it seems too convenient, too much like a propaganda filled story to suggest that one promotes goodness and rewards it, while the other is pure evil, encourages evil, tries to tempt towards immorality, and then will burn you for eternity for doing as he wishes?

"... It's not about the money. Well, I do want money, but I can get that with almost no effort... in the form of donations from my flock. What I REALLY need are followers who will happily give their lives for me. Think about it! An invincible army of fanatics with no fear of death! ... The people... LOVE me! They think that my words come from GOD! No matter how much noise you make, no matter what evidence you have, they'll NEVER listen to you! THOSE IDIOTS WILL BELIEVE ANYTHING I TELL THEM! I'VE COMPLETELY FOOLED THEM!"

Yes, this is from FMA, but, I just want to see how people respond to it.

Why can't chimps and humans breed?
Why aren't there any transitional fossils?
Why aren't other animals as smart as humans?
Why does anyone believe eolution, it takes more faith to believe it?
Why aren't we evolving now?
Why don't we see macroevolution?
Why? Why? Why?

Did I miss any?

I'm having some problems, see it all started when I stopped going to church, I started eating cats and worshipping this golden calf,

I'm wondering, do you think when I turned my back on the lord your savior Jesus Christ, that all of a sudden satan entered my body,

not only that, but I get these wild crazy ideas, like that with 98% of my DNA being identical to a chimpanzee, there might have been this evolution of man on Earth,

also, I have been having these urges to think that the Earth is round,

whats happening to me can you help?

Abu Hurairah reports that the Holy Prophet said:

There is no Prophet between me and him (i.e. Jesus Christ), and he shall descend. So, recognize him when you see him. He is a man of medium height, of ruddy and fair complexion; he will appear will be dressed in two yellow garments, the hair of his head will as though water was going to trickle down from it, whereas it will not be wet. He will fight people in the cause of Islam, will break the Cross and kill the swine and will abolish Jizyah: and Allah will put an end to all communities in his time except Islam; and he will slay the Antichrist (Dajjal); and he will stay in world for 40 years; then will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral Prayer for him.”

-(Abu Daud:Kitab al-Malahim; Musnad Ahmad: Marwiyat Abu Hurairah.

The widow of a U.S. soldier killed in Afghanistan is appealing the government's refusal to put a Wiccan symbol on his memorial plaque. Roberta Stewart is to meet Wednesday with an undersecretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and is threatening to sue unless her demand is met. Her husband, Nevada Army National Guard Sergeant Patrick Stewart, died September 25 when his Chinook helicopter was shot down. Four others also died. The agency so far has refused to grant the family's request to have the Wiccan pentacle, a five-pointed star surrounded by a circle, placed on Stewart's government-issued plaque at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Wicca is not among the 38 belief systems, including atheism, recognized by the department. Wiccans worship the Earth.

This man was only 1 of the over 2500 Pagans serving in our military. Shouldn't he be honored by granting the family's request to have the symbol of his belief placed on his memorial!!!?

Why are atheists still in the religion and spirituality section, is it cause you are trying to find God, or something like this,

I thought we could go a day without it, but alas, no.

Do you think the religious people depress other religious people as much as they depress me?

For example - an atheist. If he doesn't believe in God or the Bible, then he shouldn't have any morals. Do they feel bad when they lie, cheat, steal or kill? If so, why do they feel bad? It's not like they believe anyone thats told them it's wrong.

Christians think homosexuality is unnatural, yet when someone brings up the fact that dogs and other animals practice homosexuality, it's said that humans are above animals.

If Christians believe that we are above animals and we shouldn't compare ourselves to them, then why do Christians associate themselves with lambs, sheep, and fish? Why do they associate being in a flock if we're not to compare ourselves to animals?

vs 24 - 26 - Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

I know that Hindus count Lord Buddha as one of the ten primary avatars of Lord Vishnu. Do Buddhists also view Him this way?

When I travelled to Sri Lanka a few years ago, some Buddhist monks told me that on Lord Buddha's personal visit to their island, He instructed them to worship Lord Visnu for protection in His absence.

In Nepal and Burma the line between Hinduism and Buddhism also seems quite blurred. Are these traditions essentially integrated, or are they at their cores, mutually exclusive. What does one provide that the other lacks?

It seems that, if God was always around, with no explanation of how, that it is completely random that he would have turned out "perfectly good", rather than "pretty good but overly tough on Polish midgets." So why is God good, or are we just astronomically lucky? (Chances of this are smaller than evolution, by the way)
