Actually, God told Satan that is going to destroy him at the end of time, so he is trying to take as many people with him as he can. Satan really believes that he will triumph in the end. Satan is pure evil... he is trying to punish everyone, not just the bad.
The separation during the end times and heaven both occur because God cannot stand sin. The very essence of God is the absence of sin. He cannot have any part of it. If God is pure good (the absense of sin) and Satan is pure evil (the very definition and embodiment of sin), then they are not going to be on the same side. They are complete opposites, fighting for two different teams.

Okay; God rewards in good ways. When satan, yes he wants sin, he wants bad things; he will never reward for the good. He carries every consequence possible. Satan only makes things worse. He feeds on the evil and cauios. Satan hates the people that love him and the people that love God. He fills your head up with illusions and empty promises; where God on the other hand loves all; the sinners, non believers, beleivers, etc. So I disagree when you say that they are the same. Whether you believe in God and Satan or not everything ever written about it comes to this. Satan wants evil and feeds on it. He promises and promises and only hurts more in the end. His word is useless. God on the otherhand does not care. As long as you ask for forgiveness and accept him. He loves you no matter what though. He still loves the biggest Satan lover no matter what. So no...they are not the same.

According to the Bible, God is the one who both rewards the good and punishes the wicked-- including the Devil! The late, great Dr. Billy Graham said that Satan will be just another anonymous sinner in Hell, "another buck private in the stockade," so to speak.. The Bible and mythology assign a lot of roles to the Devil, but there is no Christian doctrine that makes the Devil in any way a "social equal" to God, but many feel that God works through mankind's errors to teach them truth, and rescues people from wickedness to help him fight it. The elevation of Satan to a position of being on a par with God is a remnant of thinking based on Zoroastroism, which teaches that Darkness and Light, equal forces, forever battle for dominance in the universe. Biblical Christianity, in contrast, teaches that God will triumph and cast the Devil and his legions into Hell. This is my interpretation, but religion is replete with interpretations and opinions of all kinds.

Satan does not "punish" evil. Where did you hear that? God punishes evil, not Satan. Satan is just a fellow victim in Hell, like all the dammed.
Satan uses people to do his will, and then he is indifferent to their final fate, since evil knows no gratitude. What makes you think that an evil person would reward anyone besides himself?
Do you learn your Christian Theology from cartoons?

The DEVIL wants what he can never have for himself. A Human Soul.
If he corrupts one to the point that they are sent to HELL; it is only to add to his collection.
HELL is a prison. The DEVIL was sent there to stay for all Eternity; never to pass through the Gates of HEAVEN. That is his punishment.
If such a poor soul were to do such wrongs as to be sent to this prison; then think of it as getting violated in the most diabolical and horrifying way ever imagined by the prison's most famous inmate. SATAN has been there for so long that he thinks he runs the place. If he actually did; then why can't he ever leave and do something else?
The DEVIL can't; he never could.
The Human Soul is the most precious of GOD'S creations. It has free will.
The DEVIL hates GOD so much that he will stop at nothing to corrupt human beings just so he can torture them.

Ok when you are a Christian you really don't full reward until you die, Satan rewards you for doing evil when you are alive, but for your sins and not being saved my Jesus Christ. Jesus will send you to hell for Satan to torture you, Satan has nothing to do with you Judgement or eternal life. If anything you throw yourself in the Devil's pit by not being saved. Read the book "23 Minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. It is 10.00 dollars off of amazon.com

Good point. God clearly wants Satan to do the things he does or God could simply make him vanish in the blink of an eye. And you are right it is odd that following Satan causes you to be eternally tortured by Satan and his minions. You'd think Satan would want to bribe people with some kind of cool afterlife without all the torture and fire.

The whole story doesn't make sense. Why would satan be evil. Let's for argument's sake say they exist. Lucifer wanted to be like God. He thought he could do God's job. How would he prove this if he tortured humanity? God says Ba'al is evil, when Ba'al is really just another god worshipped by another group and all of their stories about Ba'al are quite nice. I think it's just a scare tactic. If this Lucifer guy does exist. He's probably nicer than God seeing that he doesn't want to smite anyone and make them worship him.

God is the one who does the rewarding and the punishing. The statin is just another of the punished. He is being tourtured just as much as anyone else in hell.
He is not a opposing force to God, nothing is strong enough to oppose God. The devil is the opponent to mankind. He hates that despite being older and stronger than us, we are more highly favored by God. Satin wants to drag down as many people with him as possible.

It isn't about making people 'good', it's about who gets their soul. Hell ca't even really be said to be a punishment in the conventional sese of the word; it isn't like God gets ....ed because we were immoral and tosses us to his counterpart Satan, wo beats us up for eternity.... Hell is just the inevitable separation between us and God. The fac that Hell is miserable is kind of.... incedental.
