So many people think they are saved if the just believe well satan believed, and some think if they are good will make them saved. I wanna know what God says as well.

I cannot begin to put into words the Born-Again experience only those who have truly experienced it can relate...

Eternal Life...Salvation ...is not a possesion...it's a stream of living Waters flowing into and through us....Jesus called it Living Waters...meaning a continual flowing Stream...

You say "satan believed." Lets have a look again at the text I think you are referring to, which is James 2:19: "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder." Notice the slight but important difference: demons believed in the facts but not in the person -- indeed they knew all the facts right from the start, yet still rejected God because they wanted to live their own way rather than submit to God's authority.
You said "some think if they are good..." and you are right because many people do think this, but they fail to realise that God requires perfection and although many people are good (some very good), no one is perfect... apart from one man, and it is through this man that we can meet God again. Yes, you've guessed it's Jesus.
Are you asking people how they know they are saved because you want to be sure yourself? Salvation is a big topic and there are many opinions on it. Some even seperate "being saved" and "going to heaven", but I think you'll agree that this is just complicating matters! Beliving in someone means that you trust them, that you are willing to rely on them, that you give them the "benefit of the doubt," and so on. The scripture above, from James, talks about (to use a western phrase) "putting your money where you mouth is" -- being ready and willing to actually invest serious time and effort based on what you believe. So, believing in Jesus in the way described above means you can be sure you are saved today and forever because Jesus is the way back God!

I followed the instructions of the Creator, that's how I know I'm saved!......You spoke of good will to attribute to salvation, but my answer is based on the Word Of God ("For By Geace Are Ye Saved Through Faith In (Jesus), And Not that Of Yourselves, It Is The Gift Of God: Not Of Works, Lest Any Man Should Boast")! (Eph. 2: 8,9) & (Acts 2:38)..& (John 14: 6) ..( Acts 4:12)...Etc. Etc......

I am saved by the Grace of God, through Faith. Romans 10:13 says,For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

To be saved you have to believe: 1. you are a sinner, 2. Jesus died on the cross to cleanse you of your sins and 3. He then arose. No amount of good deeds will get you into heaven. Only what Jesus did will get you in...but you must believe and ask Jesus to save you.

I know I saved because I read my bible and it says you have to believe, confess, repent, and be baptized. Plus, the bible says don't add or take from the word of GOD and just believing is taking from the plan of salvation.

You are saved by accepting Jesus as your lord and savior. Satan never did ths, and instead, got upset when God asked him to bow down to man.

Try the Spirit's to see if they are of GOD. Every Spirit that CONFESS's (that's deeper than just saying it, gotta Believe it too) JESUS CHRIST come in the FLESH is of GOD. Period. Ditto.
