spend as much time as Mainworry (the real one) does on here when all you do is vomit scripture after scipture and give no real opinions of his own (3500 points this week alone)? he doesn't even write those scriptures himself he just cuts and pastes. i mean it would be different if he were trying to help someone... hell anyone. all he does is get people riled up and waits to be bashed so he can cry foul.

17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

Mark 16: 17-18

Does this mean Christians can drink deadly poison and it won't hurt them, did Jesus really say this or didn't he?

There was an old woman who apparently had no reason to live. Her entire family had either died or abandoned her, she owed a great deal of money, and to boot, she was nearly blind.

One day, the woman fell into a deep well, and there was nobody to hear her cries for help. She slept the night, and she woke in the morning to find that people above-ground were actually throwing dirt on her.

Above, workers had been instructed to fill in that old useless well. When she cried up to them for mercy, they replied that they were under strict orders to fill in this well, and quite frankly, her life was not worth slowing down the project.

Now she was to be buried alive. . .the horror!! She cried for a while regarding her plight, but then she noticed that as long as she shook off the dirt being thrown at her, she could step on it, and gain higher footing.

And so doing for a few hours, the lady then stepped out of the well, smiled, and said a sincere, "Thank You" to the shovelers.

I had a dream I was holding hands with my friend I'm interested in, then suddenly I was holding hands with a little boy and my friend was across the room. The fact that I was holding hands with the kid was prevending me from holding hands with my friend, which I really wanted to do. Then I noticed the kid had seven fingers. What does that mean?

Jews and Muslims both testify to the oneness of a being who is the uncaused cause of all causes, unique in every way. Christians on the other hand believe in the multiplicity of divine attributes, as do many schools of Hinduism.

That being said, can it really be true that (trinitarian)Christianity worships the God of monotheistic religion(Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Baha'i..etc)?

Why, tell me, if you realy believe in god, do you cry when you lose a loved one. DONT TELL ME that you cry because u know you will miss him until you meet him again, cause deep down you know that it's because you know the trueth... that he is gone forever.

Did God really say this:

'Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor's wife and defile yourself with her.

I wonder do people actually read their biblical answers, epescially those who are actually wanting to know what the Truth is!

What is it with those who seem to just blab out answers as if they know something about GOD (Jesus Christ), when they never really research it for themselves.

2Ti 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2Ti 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

As if, they just say it because thats what they heard! LOOK IT UP FIRST PLEASE!
Also, what is it with us Christians (True Believers) when we don't back up our answer with the Word of God, by actually quoting it with the scripture we are refering too.

2Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

If I was still a NON Believer, I would want to know were you got your answer from and I might actually go look it up for my self.

I was recently browsing the Clavicular Salomonis (Key of Solomon the King) and the Lemegeton Clavicular Salomonis (Lesser Key of Solomon the King) and although these are pagan spells and rituals, involving invoking demons etc. they all praise the Christian God in their content and rituals - they seem to be Christian demon summonings! Can anyone briefly explain to me the history of the book, or why it appears to have two completely contrasting principles included? Thanks!

p.s. i'm not stupid, but i'm also only 16, so simple words would be appreciated - I don't mind complicated answers, since I know this is likely to be a complex topic, but responses that don't require a dictionary to be read would be useful... just a request!

All Christians must be pacifists as Jesus's words and deeds were acts of non-violence. How can people like George Bush claim to be Christian when they believe in revenge?

"But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also" (Matthew 5:39).

"And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him. And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out [his] hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword" (Matthew 26:50-52).

"Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." (Romans 12:19, NIV)

Need I say more?

Just thinking about this.........What if we are the test humans.......say there are other humans out there way off in another universe who live in like the Garden of Eden who have not had sin touch them in any way and are watching us and are like,,this is what could happen to us if we were to disobey in any way.......What if the Devil came to God and said "Your people follow you like a dog follows his master.......You don't even give them a chance to decide if they want to follow you" and whala we have Sin put in by the Devil and God steps back to see what his children will do............Has anyone ever thought if this is possible?
By the way am a believer in God.................=)

Using this simple criteria... please inform me which logically would be the truth.
See... if the devil is real and has great influence over society(eg. Bush professing to be christian while being a freemason at the same time etc) then the devil must use a lot of energy to try and dissuade people from the truth right?

And which then of these three religions is suppressed, hated, feared and despised?

What factual basis do you have to feel those feeling about it? (Don't give me that globalists media crap...heard it all before.... I'm talking about you! and what you have read(books) and the knowledge that you! possess that you haven't gleamed from others and media).

I think many aspects of donating/receiving sperm could be considered sinful. A man is sexually pleasing himself without the presense of a wife and will abandon countless children that he will never meet and probably never even know exist; A women is impregnating herself with a stranger's sperm, often times out of wedlock and perhaps even in order to have a child with a gay partner; Both a man and a woman are opting to procreate unnaturally; The child will be a product of science rather than of love.

I'm not too religious, I'm just looking for support/rebuttals to this claim. Please and thank you.

Do you think Christ will approve of these judgmental, intolerant people who cut and paste bible passages to respond to the simplest question. Passages that I don't think they have read themselves and if they did they probably don't understand it.?

And demons started stalking me I been to several different kinds of shrinks and they all say my mind is fine. Can anyone explain what happened because I think that Wicca is far more dangerous than it outwardly appears.
