Your quotes are all from the epistles of Paul which are church letters. Not a good arguer of the Word if you only use letters instead of scripture.
"The books of the Word are all those which have the internal sense; but those books which have not the internal sense, are not the Word. The books of the Word, in the Old Testament, are the five Books of Moses, the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges, the two Books of Samuel, the two Books of Kings, the Psalms of David, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi: and in the New Testament, the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; and the Apocalypse. The rest have not the internal sense" (Arcana Coelestia n. 10325 or Heavenly Doctrine n. 266).

I think the Bible should only be used if that is what the questioner is asking for. But not all who are asking questions want quotes... they want original thought. I've seen people ask a simple question, that wouldn't take anyone more than a minute to come up with an answer of their own, stoop to quoting the Bible and then get upset when someone points out that it could mean something else. Not all questions demand quotes.

not many times. an excellent style of the time they're only lengthy c&p jobs which have little if something to do with the easily question and are a change for a nicely idea out answer. i visit verify one in all my own bible's or use the hunt container on biblegateway myself. If that is only a quote or 2 and that is actual suitable (like it has easily textual content interspersed) i will seem at it because from time to time people use the rates to help a real answer. yet no, not many times.

As a very much non-believer I did not even own a bible and did not listen to any bible thumper when they did quote scripture. I recieved The Truth of my Salvation despite that... I now read and study but it is only conferming what I know to be true...A non believer is not going to believe what is in any Bible untill the Holy Spirit reveals that there is truth to be found there. Spouting Bible verses just turns off most non-believers... stick with your witness and testimony and ease off the literal quotations.

You have a valid point here, but I know that this tactic will not work for all people. So sometimes I use the Bible as my source such as www.biblegateway.org and sometimes I use a practical approach, such as what Jesus used when he gave parables. I think we need to prayerfully consider how to answer a question and determine if using scripture is the wisest course or not (Proverbs 4).

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Daniel 12:10 ...none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Brother, we are all fallen and imperfect beings and you must remember that. We are also firmly instructed not to worry about splinters, as I seem to recall ; ) And as to my predeccessor's answer, either you accept the bible as being a wholly inspired work of god or you through the whole thing out entirely. C.S. Lewis' Liar/Lunatic comparison is similar, either you accept all the teachings of Christ or you must revile them all otherwise you make a mockery of christ.

I agree with you. Many tend to base there "beliefs" on tradition. While others, may base a whole system of beliefs on their interpretation of scriptures. I personally require evidence by the boat load. There is more that I can say on this issue, but, I will not bore you.

Well some things I know I've read in the Bible but I can't find them when I'm trying to quote them. I love my Bible but it has a horrible Concordance.
