If its Leviticus, its gotta be good.

"The books of the Word are all those which have the internal sense; but those books which have not the internal sense, are not the Word. The books of the Word, in the Old Testament, are the five Books of Moses, the Book of Joshua, the Book of Judges, the two Books of Samuel, the two Books of Kings, the Psalms of David, the Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi: and in the New Testament, the four Evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; and the Apocalypse. The rest have not the internal sense" (Arcana Coelestia n. 10325 or Heavenly Doctrine n. 266).

Yep, its one of the old hebrew laws. They had a lot of laws. Most of them were geared toward trying to keep people from getting diseases, it was a pretty dirty age, no real good bathrooms, washing machines, etc., in fact not much in the way of water at all. Cleanliness was hard to come by, and like it or not, when we woman have our periods, its just not really clean, especially back then when you couldn't just go to the bathroom afterwards and take a shower. No pads, no tampax, no toilet paper. And face it, blood draws critters, critters draw disease. Bacteria everywhere. One of the old hebrew laws had to do with not eating meat and cheese together, which I thought was ridiculous. At least I did until I read a scientific report that said it really isn't healthy. Who'd a guessed that? But its true, so maybe there is something to those laws, huh? God knew what He was telling us, even if it didn't seem to make a lot of sense.

Let's go before you having sexual relations
LEVITICUS 18:19
19) Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleaness

You should not even approach to even taking the womans clothes off of her while unclean, and the woman should be responsible enough to tell her husband when she is unclean.

I think he did. Keep in mind that I'm not super religious... I think since it was one of the first books used to educate the masses, it was versitile. It was a health book, and a method of keeping diseases down in a population. It regulated how food should be cooked and stored. Trash disposal. Logic and reasoning. Law and government. Disease was considered to be a punishment by God, caused by being unclean. Exposure to blood was considered unclean. Fine, when you consider that a lot of diseases are spread through contact with blood. Pretty wild stuff.

I do not know about the religious aspect but I do know that some women are hotter during their period than any other time of the month. Note that I say some women. Women come into " HEAT" at different times, and until you get to know the woman, you do not know what day of the month her sex drive will peak.
Sex during the period is a bit messy but it can really be so very hot also. It is worth the mess.
Have fun, have sex !

OK: The Bible is not God directly speaking to humanity. Instead it is a collection of ancient records and documents concerning God. And don't use this as an excuse to bash Christians or Jew's God. The Book of Leviticus is ancient Jewish Law. So no: God did not really say that.

Your alias is Moses. You know the passage from the Bible. Did you really have to ask this question out of ignorance and doubt, or are you just so bored you need some attention today? And that command came through Moses from God. Remember, God appeared more than once to Moses and others in his prescense as well. Not in human form. But it got ther attention and that's what counted.

Yep, it's really in the bible, but it is apart of the old covenant. So the real question is does it apply to Christians now since we are in the new covenant? There are many things that are apart of the old covenant that are permissable now, but you would be amazed at the wisdom of God's old covenant law. The people of that the old covenant applied to did not have the medical knowledge to understand the implications of sexual intercourse during a women's period. It really is unhealthy. Check it out, ask a doctor.

I don't think so... I think that is just the writings of people during a time when they thought everything was unclean... If God really did say such things, then anyone wearing mixed fabrics is in trouble... Football players... oh wow, touching pigskin??? They're definitely in trouble.
