Nope. Suffering a slow painful dying process does scare me, but the death part just doesn't bother me much. Death is just a part of life which we have to accept.

I don't think death is very many people's greatest fear in lifr. For someone to be afraid of death they must first acknowledge that there is an afterlife, and there are plenty of philosophies, religions, cults, etc. that tackle the hereafter. Anyone who fears death simply hasn't done their homework...I feel that many people fear a painful death, and their mortality. This may be why so many people lose it at funerals, even if they didn't know the deceased all that well. Here, lyingin front of them, is an example of where they will be one day all too soon. It lends one to wonder what its all about and whether you really have all the answers. Personally, my greatest fear is that I might fail as a father and provider to my family-the rest I place in God's hands.

Death is not the biggest fear, I think my biggest fear is being alone for the rest of my life and end up being that old women the 1000000's of cats

Nope, losing my kids is my biggest fear. Death will be sleeping until judgment, actually sounds nice and restful, no more stress, anger, pain. The judgment part may be a bit scary, I mean, who is absolutely certain they qualify? I know I'm saved, I believe, but if anyone says they have no qualms at all, I think they may not be telling the entire truth.

How can one fear death when one is not dead or dying? Yeah... i fear death, and so will you all at the time its happening. Then you will find what the truth is and whether your self-styled philosophy or God or nothingness will prevail you. But their is no turning back, no way to undo your life and the things you have done, your belief or false beliefs etc.

NO. Because God is my salvation, and life. My biggest fear is, not seeing my loved ones in heaven. Death is only for the physical body, and we will all loose our physical bodies someday.

No not at all. My biggest fear, or more the thing I'm dreading most, is becoming old. I don't want to become useless and not be able to do the things I do now. I want to be able to live my life the way I want to forever. I don't want to be forced to have to stop playing soccer or running because my aged bones won't be able to handle it any more. I'll feel useless.

No of course not. Knowing that Christ died and overcame death, I know He will lead me through the valley of death. Seperation from God for eternity would be my greater fear.
