All right, I almost changed from Christianity to Wicca, but then I did a simple ceremony not involving any magic just a celebration. And demons started stalking me I been to several different kinds of shrinks and they all say my mind is fine. Can anyone explain what happened because I think that Wicca is far more dangerous than it outwardly appears.

I read plenty of books. I asked this question to give members of a religion a chance to intelligently explain themselves. Not to give people an excuse to call me stupid and weak minded.

And if Wiccans can believe in magic then they can probably in higher spirits both good and evil (the evil ones being demons). And if you people want to know the gory details by stalking I mean I would wake up in the middle of the night to see somone lying next to me quite regularly. Or I would be taking a walk and hear heavy quick footsteps behind me but I would turn and no one was there. This went on for months, and my shrinks all said I was more mentally sound than most.

Another thing is that I did not believe demons exsisted until I tried the ceremony.

Geez peoples, like I said before I didn't even think demons exsisted until I was stalked by a few. Nor was I raised to beleive that they did.

All right I am still not sure about being Wiccan but at least one of you did what I asked and took me seriously and explained a few things so... here's the best one.

I will have to make many assumptions and/or guesses in attempting to answer this question for you.

"... a simple ceremony not involving any magic..." : every ceremony (Christian, Wiccan, etc. etc.) is a form of doing magic... it may not seem "fancy" or full of sounds, sights, smells, and movements, but the Spiritual Intent is there. :)

I can't comment on your actions since I don't know which ceremony you performed nor where you got the 'instructions' from (a book? online?), but I'd be glad to go over the details (either here or via e-mail: erdsparkrpga @ aol.com) :)

Regardless of what the details of the ceremony are, you may just be a 'psychic sensitive'... you are sensitive to the astral/psychic world. Engaging yourself in the ceremony may have opened up your senses to what's "out there" :)

"...demons started stalking me..."
Again, not sure what you specifically mean by this... why do you classify them as "demons"? Physical attributes? icky/malicious feelings? Have you been having a string of "bad luck" because of these "stalkers"?

Again, it may be that you had opened yourself up to the nuances of the universe and are sensing it more... this being something you are not accustomed to, it may be giving you the "heebie-jeebies" and a general sense of unease.

"...almost changed from Christianity to Wicca..."
You are on a path of spiritual exploration... it definitely has its bumps in the road.
Wicca, in and of itself, is pretty tame... especially with all the "wicca 101" books out there... it has to be since it has gone from a serious expression of religion to almost a "fad"... the more "mystical" side of things are there too (just like in any religion... catholic exorcisms... hebraic demons), but it doesn't sound like you delved into those areas. :)

So, ultimately, I guess if you're still having the problem, you might want to do some meditations/prayers to "shield" yourself.
Ask for protective help from Jesus, Odin, Anubis, the Morrigan, Artemis, whichever being(s) you trust... feel his/her/their presence as a shimmering field that strengthens your own natural aura / "forcefield" wherever and whenever you are. :)

Again, if you want to discuss this further, I'd be glad to talk more :)

First of all yes, Wiccan can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

You are also right that a schrink can not do anything for you, if you are truely being stalked by demons.

I'm not saying you are not, but experience has shown me that SOME strong religious people make up demons after they have seen Wiccan. In other words the demons are imaginary.

This being said there is a lot of things you can do to get rid of them if they are real.

The first thing I would suggest is talking to your priest. Priest can normally get rid of them in multiple different ways.

If this did not work then talk to some of the other Wiccans that were at the ceremony. They should be able to tell you what happened and at least 1 of them should know how to get rid of it.

The reason I said talk to the priest first is because a lot of the Wiccans today are not really Wiccan at all. They believe they are, but trust some of them aren't.

Some Wiccans dabble in things they do not understand. Thus wouldn't be able to help you. Some think these so called demons are normal for them. There are even some Satanists mascerading as Wiccan.

The truth is a priest should be able to help.

If a and b does not work then look for another Wiccan that is not part of that group. They will normally know of somebody that can.

again try the priest first.

There is no such thing as a non magickal Wiccan ceremony. If you did a ceremony then you went between worlds as Wiccans call it and invoked energies.

The reason you encountered trouble is because NO NOVICES SHOULD USE MAGICK. If you cast a spell without properly understanding how you can manifest negative energy just as you manifest positive energy. You can attract negative elements are spirits toward you,

Wiccans don't call these demons as we don't believe in absolute evil. But obviously not all things and energies on this domain are productive and postive in direction.

Maybe if you are interested in Wicca you should try studying the religious side and learning about the Goddess and God and their connection to you. I can send you some good links if you are really interested in learning about Wicca.

Wicca does not conjur demons, however an extremely guilty Christian conscience can.

You are either genuinely imaging things due to your own inner fears or you haven't seen the right doctor and you are a schizophrenic. If you are very intelligent and in your teens or early 20's it is possible you are in the early stages of schizophrenia My high school sweetheart - class validictorian, used to have conversations with Jesus himself, or so he thought. Poor man is very, very mentally ill. He was finally diagnosed in his 20's.

Oh and the Jehovah's Witness chick..steer clear of that really psycho cult unless you really want your life completely ruined.

Beware of any religion that claims to have the one and only "truth."

You should also know that Wicca and other pagan religions existed long before Christianity and no, people were not possessed or demon stalked. Use your head on this one.

Hi my name is Brittany, I am a Jehovah's Witness and yes we are Christians if you know about them. Wicca is very much dangerous. Wicca has nothing to do with the mind, it has to do with messing with demons. whether or not u did anything with magic whatever you did you invited demons into your home. when was the last accurance of a demon present. I am not a paster or holy women but I know what the Bible says about demons and whatever you did whether you see it as not that bad, it must have intrigued demons in order to stalk you. please explain to me to me what this ceremony is and what you did in this ceremony. and we will go from there. here is my email directly SloanAngel17@yahoo.com or hlthchica@hotmail.com I believe I can help. talk to you soon.

You do realize that your mind Can make you experience such things... especially if you have been told all your life that things like Wicca are evil and have demons, etc... Shrinks will tell you that your mind is fine while you're sitting there acting normal... they can only deal with what they see you do, not what you tell them you have experienced and then act normal around them... (though I'm sure they are probably waiting for you to return... if it persists, most likely, they will want to put you on anti-psychotics)

There are no such thing as demons. Perhaps these are old fears errupting from your past religious teachings. I have been Pagan for over 9 years and have never heard such a thing. In fact most Pagan people will tell you that they are living at a higher level of integrity than most people they know...so evil of any form doesn't enter into their lives. While they have normal ups and downs of life, they don't experience these types of horrors or angst.

I think you are having guilty feelings due to the conversion. Many people go through this when they change from one social structure to another. It is all in your mind. It has nothing to do with demons or gods or anything supernatural. If it bothers you so, go back to being a Christian.

We had a Catholic guy at work who converted to (I think it was) Southern Baptist. The guy went nuts.

If you're ready to change from Christianity, why not try Islam?

It's the fastest growing religion on earth, and studies say in 2025 Islam will be the largest Religion on earth.

anyway, Good Luck..!
