In a dream, what do extra fingers mean?

I had a dream I was holding hands with my friend I'm interested in, then suddenly I was holding hands with a little boy and my friend was across the room. The fact that I was holding hands with the kid was prevending me from holding hands with my friend, which I really wanted to do. Then I noticed the kid had seven fingers. What does that mean?

It was just a dream don't sweat it.
The human brain has a tendency to replay things that you have seen and the imagination can kick in during dreams as well.
You may have seen some sci fi flick that your brain kicked around even though you had forgotten about it. Or it could just have been a dream. So don't worry ok?

Holding hands = friendship
Kid = replacement
Extra fingers = incompleteness

Your dream probably means socially you are seeking for new friendship. , that is what the kid is coming along. Extra fingers means that you may expect a little more perfection on your new friendship. Extra two could mean that you unconsciously deny what you have and tend to get more to make up the the incompleteness mentally.
