His love endures forever. I am so thankful for the Lord today, I thank him for my family and their good health, I thank & praise his name for my Church, I thank him for my beautiful wife of 26 years that I love more than mere words could ever express. I thank him for 3 wonderful children who love God with all their hearts. Two in college and one married with a great family. I thank God for my neighbors who are just like family. I thank God for my home of 20 years with my sons tree house still in my back yard (LOL). I thank God for the so many awesome people he has placed in my life. I thank God for the food he provides me with. I thank God for each one of you awesome people who write such wonderful things here..you have inspired me so much..I could never repay how you have lifted me so many times. I thank God even for some who don't know him...even the one's who may say not the kindest things..it's okay..I even love them. God bles each of you.

Please tell me how God has blessed you

Lately I have been frustrated by the complete lack of understanding and acceptance of people with different religious beliefs (or lack of them). So often I hear how prayer should be in school, government, etc. Now the point of my question is why can't the people that want these things understand that there are millions of people that don't believe what they believe? Would a good christian want to be forced to take part in buddhist chants or muslim prayer? If the answer is no, then why can't they see how it would feel for people not of the christian faith? Put yourself in another person's shoes and explain to me how one can justify christian prayer in school?

DC Talk has a song called "What if I Stumble". The 1st phrase of the song is "The greatest cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who profess to know God with their mouths, but deny Him with their lives. This is what an unbelieving world finds totally unbelievable". I am a Christian and I totally agree with this. What are your thoughts?

That’s the only reason for believing in god I can see being too stupid to understand science and too ignorant to find out the truth. Say no to jesus.

Why don't christians put into practise their harsh mode of punishments as per the bible?
like Leviticus 20:10 and Deuteronomy 22:22 which says that who commits adultry shall be put to death
and when jesus said in Mark 10:11 ("Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her." )
and Mark 10:12 "And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." and also in Luke 16:18
I noticed here by living in the US, that more than 50% of the population is divorced. People divorce each others, and marry other people and still attend Churches and consider themselves Christians.

I know the Hinduism & Buddhism religions define karma as the state of one's current life based on their actions in a previous life (re-incarnation). Well I'm not into all of that, but I believe what goes around comes around. Is that actually karma, spirituality, or just good advice?

Why are they all so scared of going to hell? I have seen so many people claiming to be atheists but they go and get all upset when a Christian ssays they are going to Hell. That is our belief as Christians, So if you don't believe in Heaven or Hell why are you so upset when we say that? Oh and when was the last time you told some one to go to hell?????

I mean, come on, they say that Christ died to forgive ppls sins, and yet if u sin ur going straight to hell. It makes no sense. "God" also supposedly says to love thy neighbor, but it's okay if u hate homosexuals b/c their going straight to hell. It's sooo stupid!

You can't tell for certain what hell or heaven are really like. What if Hell is really a nice place and the devil is having a huge party and heaven is boring?

Don't worry about what you know nothing about.
