Generally, Christians think hell is a real place of eternal torture. That's why they worry about it. A better question might be, "why do they believe such patent nonsense?"

Maybe you need a reality check. Those who serve the lord for real are the only one's that God could actually show the real hell, and the true heavens. Hell is not a place you want to be in, and you should do whatever it takes to save your self from going there. The only way is Jesus Christ. Wether you beleive it or not.

Jesus said that Hell is a place of torment, and Heaven is a place of exceeding joy.
A Christian should not be worried about Hell, because they know where they are going (if they are being sincere in their walk with Jesus and not just calling themselves Christian). But Christians are worried that other people are going to end up in Hell.

As a Catholic, I firmly believe in Heaven and Hell. However, not the traditional types depicted in old paintings. Heaven to me would be a beautiful golf course with fishing lakes nearby where the fish bite every day, and every golf shot is near perfect. Hell would be a place where I would be forced to read all the crappy questions about Christians and the like, day after day, week after week, year after year.
Leave me alone with my dream and annoy some other religion or group. We have not had much Gay bashing lately, or is that because you have a queer attitude to that subject.............

>>>What if Hell is really a nice place <<<
Wishing it doesn't make it so.
Hell is mentioned in the New Testament at least two dozen times. In many of those verses, it's described in pretty vivid detail -- and in none of these descriptions does it say that it's even remotely a "nice place."
No doubt, the worst thing about being in hell is the fact that one is eternally separated from the glory of God. That has to be the worst punishment that any creature of God could possibly go through.

I don't worry what would happen in Hell since Hell is a termination of existence... Not the common misconception of burning forever and all eternity... Do I worry about being sent there even if I am a good person? All fall short of the glory of God. This means no one can EVER be found righteous on their own merits. Only one has never sinned and it is only through Jesus Christ the Messiah's precious blood can we be saved... His blood will cover our sins and only then can we stand in God's Glory as a righteous person. Anyone who rejects the blood of the Lamb will stand as they are... 'as filthy rags'. I pray for righteousness through my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I don't worry about it. And I'm not a Christian just because I don't want to go to Hell. I believe in Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Heaven is just icing on that.

I have never met A TRUE CHRISTIAN that has any worry at all about heaven or getting there. Hell is not for us to worry about - and we dont.
You had better change drinking holes and find a gang that think in a little higher plain than you do today.

Im a christian and i know im gonna go to heaven but christians dont worry about hell we just dont want other people to go to hell because in hell you'll endure eternal sorrow, weeping, gnashing of your teeth, and the worst thing is you'll be seperated from the love of God for good. Also heaven is NOT boring, just read about all these things in the book of Revelations.

The bible gives us vivid discriptions of both heaven and hell. And for the most part Christians arent worried about going hell because they have been saved. They are just worried about other people who have not been saved yet.

Hmmmm....but we DO know THIS....check it out....
AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH...
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will NEVER pass away.
...as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were easting and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.... Matthew 24:35-41
It has been given to me to tell everyone this:
The Door to living in God's Presence, in fellowship with Him, was CLOSED when the first Adam was kicked out...(which ruined it for everyone) before this he
was perfect and knew God deeply and intimately. A second perfect Adam (Jesus Christ) REOPENED the Door so that we could be restored to the original Relationship. So man chooses which Adam he wants to be joined to. Not choosing just leaves you in the first one...outside the open door.
All are welcomed to come back to God through Christ if they want to. The only thing is, the AGE OF GRACE is ready to come to a close...which means the Door will be closing as well. So, people, don't wait too long. Jesus is the only DOOR to God. If you don't enter, it's your own choice...God doesn't choose it for you.
Christ is the door to the spiritual "Ark"...when the floods of judgment come again....WHERE WILL YOU BE?
...as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left....
I know not all can understand this, but at least you won't be able to say, "But Lord...I DIDN'T KNOW! Nobody ever told me!"
Time is SHORT! Get READY!
