Why do think it has a religious meaning to it? The bird got in the house end of story. Let it out. But I am sure if you look had enough in some religion you will find a meaning.

Really, it doesn't mean anything, so nothing to worry.
But for me I wish they fly in my house, I love Birds. I have one of my own. Birds are a beautiful creature of God.
Don't believe in something bad will happend, not true, unless you place it in your mind. The devil can influence you in believe false things and that could be very dengeruous. Don't get inside his territory of wrong thinking.
Think Jesus and He will show you all the wonders of Life and all His creation.

It means you left a window open. Once the bird is gone, I'd suggest closing it.

My grandmother told me a long time ago....that if a bird flies into your home...that someone you know will pass away. She was a firm believer of some superstitions.
