Christ left an example of love, universal acceptance and good-will towards all people - he ate and hung out with the most outcast of society - and now all modern day Christians want to do is judge and condemn others. The Christians have turned into the Pharisees of the new testament.

All my life I've had religious people hounding me to believe in what they believe (not all, but alot). I choose to believe in science, of what can be proved by actual facts. But religious people can't accept that.
Why do they continue to force their beliefs onto people when they're not wanted? We accept that they have beliefs, why do they refuse to accept ours?
I'm not ignorant, I've been educated in the different religions, but I have chosen a different path.
You would think that if "God" could accept people for how they are, then so can "his" followers!!!
Also, there are so many different types of religions in the world to day, that how can they prove that their belief is the correct one?

All I request is for religious people to accept others for who are they. If they're not interested in what you believe, then please don't try to conform them.

there are some people in America who are not so patriotic and don't care too much for the American Revolution. doesn't Juy 4th exclude those people? why do we patriotic people have a holiday all to ourselves? it must kill some people too see us blatantly advertising our love for this country, and ostracizing them.
let's take away the "patriotic" side of it, and make it more of a general holiday. we'll just wear certain colors, and not display the flag or sing the national anthem. that is offensive to those from other countries.
we can say happy holiday and just leave it that. sound good?

OK. The question I am asking is a little deceptive. When I ask, "Is witchcraft real?", i mean witchcraft in the most spectacular sense. Not like, "can you do a spell to make yourself do well on a math test?", but rather "can you turn someone into a cat?". or something incredible and immediately noticeable. That would be something to see. P.S. If you can turn someone into a cat, I'll pay you to do it. jk

Do you not realize, that every other holy book "says so?"

What makes your "my book says so" any more accurate than any other holy books "because it says so?"

One persons hell could be another person's Heaven

One of the greatest happiness in the world is having a companion

Humans by nature will be miserable if change doesn't take place after 100 years. They will grow sick of the same person eventually

with that being recognized, it's impossibe for heaven to be such a great place

Can we have sex in heaven. If the answer is yes or no. I see problems with both

If the answer is yes, you will get attached to someone in heaven and you wont be able to stay together for 1 trillion years. someone will be heart broken

If the answers no, Sex is one of the greatest things ever. You can't be happy by eliminating sex

Some people might try to describe some kind of mystery happiness that no one knows about which is really bullshit

Scientists first claimed man evolved from the ape which explains how we think and respond sometimes (dumb as a monkey), then they found Cromagdnum man was from ape and we did not connect in any way, Atheists believe we just happened by accident, usually men say we were taken from another world and put here but if there is God then why are we special? Many medias tried explaining this, even man whatever believe he has. How might you answer? Negatively against religion or Positively for a spiritual reason?

Regarding a previous question of mine, at least one of you saw this as greater evidence of "One True God."

Now, it's true that most faiths have their version of The Ten Commandments, in one form or another.

I would ask if this might not be evidence that these behaviors come naturally to humans, most likely to make it easier for us to live together in groups. Obviously, a society that does not kill one another or steal from one another will have an easier time than a society that does.

Now, seeing as how there is no consensus on the nature of god, but plenty of consensus on how people should behave, is it not possible that these behaviors exist without the influence of a god? Based on this evidence, is it not likely that "morality" does not need god to exist?

Sexuality is not a choice despite the nonsense spouted by so many homophobic Christians who say it is.

"Sexual orientation begins with a myriad intertwining influences — some genetic, some hormonal and gestational, some the product of cultural conditioning.

The mix for any individual is impossible to unpick. No one acquainted with the science can still believe that homosexuality is a choice or a disorder. It is part of normal human variation, just like traits such as height or intelligence to which genes and the environment both contribute."
