Sexuality is not a choice despite the nonsense spouted by so many homophobic Christians who say it is.

Being a homosexual may be a "normal" variation, but that still doesn't blow any holes into what Christians believe.

No where in the Bible does it say that being homosexual is a sin - it does say that having homosexual sexual relations is.

I would like to point out that there is no way that any research done on this subject could be done with any accuracy at all and is only speculation. The variations in all pregnancies would make having identical conditions (which is what is needed to have a basis of comparison) impossible.

I am opposed to being called a homophobe - I simply do not believe in the homosexual lifestyle. I would appreciate it if someone - anyone - could tell me when having an opinion on homosexuality turned into a phobia of homosexuals.

Three thoughts:

1. If homosexuality is healthy and normal, why do so few (if any) homosexuals have healthy relationships with their same gender parents?

2. Humanity's knowledge of any given topic is constantly growing and advancing. What we "know" for sure today may very likely become the next great myth fifty years from now. Just look at how quickly the news changes about which foods are healthy and which are not!

3. How do you explain those people who lived for years or even decades as homosexuals, yet who end up living life as fulfilled heterosexuals?

I still do at my old age find it very amazing that humankind still is quick to accept what they want to hear and reject what they do not want to hear. Too bad that the word truth has no place in this decision.

I guess the words, "nothing new is under the sun" do have a place and meaning. As it was, it will be in this age and in this sequence. I am thankful that there is hope in the age to come when all this will be put in the proper order in the proper place.

I started this day with the idea of smiling and to enjoy. This question made me laugh so my day is complete, thank you.

I did laugh because of the state of mind in the one who did reason out the conclusion that as one can not control his height or intelligence he can not control his sex acts. ha ha ha. I guess that is a joke. I always had to say yes or no to my sex acts ha ha Is there something wrong with me.

I was never given an opportunity to say yes or no to my height. Did I miss something? Oh well at 65 I guess its too late to grow another inch so I will just accept my 5'10" for the rest of my life. I won't look for the yes or no option.

Okay, check this out. I think it's okay for a man to love a man. I mean, I love my father, but I don't think it's the least bit natural for a man to lust after a man. no matter how you look at it. the human anatomy wasn't made for same sex (sexual) relationships. Think about it. Let's say that 100% of the world was homosexual. how does the human race then reproduce? recruiting? recruiting who? the next generation isn't there. I know I cannot talk you out of your lust. you really must seek to be separated from sin. all I can do is preach. but listen, nobody was born homosexual. it is an instilled behaviour (by MTV and the likes) so I suggest you stop trying to back homosexuality up, and start seeking God.

There is evidence that homosexuality is genetic, but there is other evidence that it's a choice (such as gays who have gone straight). It's an issue where people feel justified in getting into the business of others, or in forcing one's version of morality on someone else. Live and let live. Everybody -- straight and gay -- just leave each other alone.

I guess it depends on if you believe everything another human being (if that's how you want to term it) has told you. When it says that we will be punished for the sins of our parents, it somewhat means because of their mistakes, whether drugs or an unclean spirit, those things can change things about a person from how God wants them and originally made us to be, and so technically someone could come out prone to be homosexual. Homosexuality is from the devil, so if he is controlling part of your mind, it would only be natural for your child to be born with some of those qualities the devil was trying to make apparent or manifest in you. Drugs are a gateway to evil spirits, if my opinion were asked.

The gay lifestyle is an abomination to God. This means it’s disgusting an abhorrence, a feeling of repugnance or loathing.
