... ... ... And The Book which Christians call the Old Testament, and is otherwise called by the Ashkenites, was written by a man referenced in the New Testament as The Prophet. The N.T. makes it clear that at the time of The Lord many Jews were aware of this, while some I suppose were caught up in the fables 'tencing that there was no "fiction" adhere.

Archaeologists: We Found Noah's Ark

Exploring more than 13,000 feet high in the rugged Elburz mountain range northwest of Tehran, a team of archaeologists from Texas believe they have found the remains of Noah's Ark. "I can't imagine what it could be if it is not the Ark," Arch Bonnema of the Christian-based Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration (Base) Institute, told ABC News.
The team found the object nestled on the side of a hill, but at first they didn't think it was the Ark. Still, they wondered--and hoped. "We found something that has my heart skipping a beat," archaeologist and team leader Robert Cornuke told ABC. "It wasn't impressive at first. Certainly didn't think it to be Noah's Ark. But when we got close, we were amazed. It looked similar to wood." On the downside, it wasn't all that distinctive since it looked very much like the deck of a modern boat.
The Bible gives the only clues:
--It is located in the mountains of Ararat, which theologians say is hundreds of miles long. Although many have thought the ark, if it were to be found at all, would be on Mount Ararat in Turkey, the Base Institute team says the Iranian location is consistent with the Bible's geographical evidence.
--The Ark is 300 cubits by 50 cubits, which is large enough to rival the size of a small aircraft carrier. This discovery fits that size and scale. "It is provocative to think that this could be the lost ark of Noah," Cornuke told ABC.
--The Ark is made of gopher wood. This is the big gotcha. No one knows what gopher wood is!
What they found is about 400 feet long and consists of rocks that look remarkably like blackened wood beams while other rock in the area is distinctively brown, according to a news release issued by the Base Institute. One visible piece is "cut" at a 90-degree angle. Even more intriguing, some of the wood-like rocks were tested just this week and actually proved to be petrified wood. Go to the Bible and you'll read that Noah sealed his ark with pitch, which is a black substance. Upon being cut open, one of these "rocks" also divulged a marine fossil that could have only originated undersea.
Why do so many want to find the ark? "There's this idea, if we can prove that the ark existed, then we can prove that the story existed, and more importantly, we can prove that God existed," Bruce Feiler, author of "Where God Was Born," explained to ABC.
Can it be proven that this really is Noah's Ark? The team took some of the physical evidence to labs in Texas and Florida for scientific analysis. Team leader Cornuke says he is cautiously--but enthusiastically--optimistic about the find.

all the books of the New Testament, from the gospels to John the Revelator, all the teachings in these books revolve around one singular notion: the diety of Jesus Christ.
if Jesus is God made flesh, and the NT is right, there is no need for any further gospel. if Jesus is not, then everybody's lying. and if every record of Him is fraught with lies, how can He be called a prophet?

I have no idea what you people think of this, but I think this smells alot like the communists in Russia or China telling people that religion is bad and people should not think about it. Why do people like to label something beautiful, like Christianity, as bad? Why should anyone be "advised" against the belief in God?

Like, take this one guy for example. He's a christian and he always gotta start drama cause i'm an atheist by quoting the bible to me and calling me a fool and being conceited that i'm not a christian like him. He didnt know i'm a stripper and so one night i saw him walk into our strip club and feeling up on all the girls, and i was like why is he here he's married? but whatever, i get more money. Why do christians gotta think there so perfect and everything and criticiz e other people and then they cheat on there spouse and do whatever there bible says not too? They all seem to be shady people. At least i dont say i'm not something i'm not and i dont try to be. There so fake.

Listen to what Jesus said in John 14:23-24 (KJV):

23 " Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."

Now Christians, I ask again, "Do you love Jesus?"

If yes, give examples on how you do.

when God comes down to seperate his flocks (believers from non), and you could no longer denie that he is and always was the one true God would you finally change your heart and accept him if he gave you the chance? or would you stubbornly hold on to your old views (whatever they may be) even if you saw the truth before your eyes and felt the fires of hell lapping at your heels?

This just completely baffles me, and it goes for Christians, Muslims, atheists, Jews, and any other religons: Why can't people just accept that others have different beliefs?? I am Christian and I accept that others have different beliefs, and I don't preach to them and tell them they have to believe in my God. I just can't get through my head why anyone would want to bash what someone else believes in. It seems to me, although it's very likely that I'm wrong, that it is Christians and atheists who do this the most. Christians would probably be #1, in fact, which is very ironic to me, considering God preached tolerance. (And I don't believe that "telling the truth" is an excuse. It's the truth to some people, but not to others. It's just plain rude.)
I doubt anyone can satisfactorily answer this, unless they are a person who has bashed someone else in the past. I'm just kind of frustrated right now and feel the need to say something. Sorry this is so long.
