Thats right. However the same does not apply to a muslim man.

No one asks why a Jew can be considered a Jew only if his mother is a Jew...
Every religion has it's own special marks, one way or the other.
A Muslim can only marry a Muslim woman, a Christian Woman or a Jewish woman.
A Muslim woman can only marry a Muslims man.
This is a protection for the woman, what is wrong with that?
In Islam marriage is some part of the religion, it is not a simple act of sex. The man has to believe in Allah so he could practice prayer 5 times a day and before making initiating sex with his wife. A Muslim has to take a bath ( Tahor) after the sex act with his wife during which he should keel himself in a very accurate step by step procedure, and he has to make Wadoo ( Ablution).Can a non Muslim do all that?
So, this is the meaning of cleanness in Islam between the man and wife, a Muslim won should be touche by only a Muslim man so she would not feel misused by a non clean man.
This is a high standardization for the woman, and to make sure that she is being treated by her man in the name of Allah as a companion with full trust and understanding.

In Islam, it is imperitave that the child of a Muslim be raised as a Muslim. During those days, when people held religion sacred, the child was raised in the religion of the father, the head of the family and household. This rule was set to prevent confusion and to prevent the child of a Muslim from being raised in another religion. Now people don't care about religion and think it passe and something to be scoffed at, but the rule is still held dear by Muslims. If the man chooses to accept Islam as his religion, then he is by no means prevented from marrying a Muslim woman.

Muslim´s are just as varied in the level of devoutness as Christians and Jews.. not all Muslims follow the laws of their religion, just as many non Muslims don´t. The real problem, is that non Muslims know so little about Muslims, that they are often painted as burka wearing, bomb throwing nut cases. Nothing could be further from the truth. Stop believing everything your Government decides you should know. They do things like taint the news ya know, just so they can explain their expenditures.

A muslim woman cannot marry a non-muslim man. If he truly loves her, he will convert to Islam and get married to her.

YES, in order to understand why it is so you need to learn a bit about islam, see unlike other religions Islam prescribes a complete system to the mankind which you need to abide by when you are a muslim.

Yes, it is true and I think it is Just.. If she Marries with a Christian and that Christian does not believe that Muhammad is the Messenger of God. There would be a basic conflict between them.
A husband may abuse Prophet Muhammad and a wife in return can't abuse Jesus Christ because she considers Him as one of the Mighty Messengers of God.
There will be problems during lunch and dinner, a husband will like to take Prok and wine while as a wife considers such things as unlawful.
Husband would like her to come pout in semi naked clothes while as wife wold like to cover her body.
Husband may force her for sexual intercourse when the wife is fasting so with all those problems how come the relation will last long.

yes it is because it can prevent the kids from be confius about what should he or she believe and this rule also applied to muslims man, dont you try to give bad impression to muslims jewish also call any non jewish as goyei which mean animal and nobody care so dont just critisize other religion
