Are animals more spiritual than members of the human race? Does anybody believe that they can commune with higher beings (ex. god, spirits, the Faerie folk)?

Well, somebody said they just live and mate. Technically, that is all humans do also. Sure, we work and play and such....but that is just living.

Personally, I think cats have it right on. They just plop over and sleep for 15 hours. I wish I could do that. I don't know if its spiritual. Probably not. That is just the life of a cat.

No, they don't otherwise they wouldn't be subject to us. They are a part of God's creation as we are. However, God breathed into us the breath of life and we became living souls. Animals do not have souls, they live on instinct. But, I do believe they know who created them.

The ancient egyptians do. I havent found proof of them communicating with the spirits though. Maybe they see spirits but disregard them as something useless. The only thing that concerns them is food, sex and shelter i guess.

Stop staring at your cat and go out into the real world. There are spiritual
humans out there. And if you are nice they might let you pet them.

Of course! We start out like we are.

We reincarnate in to Shirley Mclean.

Then we become a Hannimann, Gnish, Rock, Spermazia, or Al Gore.

Aren't other animals mortals too?
To answer your question though, no. I think humanity is the centerpiece of all of Gods creations. He gave us dominion of it all.
