Its listed as a docudrama which means its been cinematically changed to make the story more intersting and now is only based on a true story.

Carol M is just the kind of person that makes this country so violent. You should be ashamed of yourself and your ignorance.

So I watched the story and it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I wonder why Lifetime didn't do a story from one of the real Wiccans that were persecuted in stead of a wanna be.

"According to the lawsuit, Brandi Blackbear had read a library book about Wicca beliefs and, under aggressive interrogation by Bushyhead, said she might be a Wiccan. In fact, Blackbear is a Roman Catholic, according to the newspaper Tulsa World."

She's NOT a pagan, she's a Roman Catholic learning about other religions. So the movie is fiction. No biggie though, might be interesting.

I recorded this movie when it came on and watched it after i got out of class the next day. I'm studying Wicca and am seriously thinking about doing an initiation. It's sad that people get treated horribly just for being different. She should have won the case. It's just so obvious the school treated her like dirt. It was a good story with a sad ending.

I know Brandi and she isn't a Wiccan. The story got blown out of proportion. I am myself a wiccan so don't think I'm correcting this false story out of spite. I know her. She was just acting out of high school rebellion which we've all done. The all black, pentacle drawing on the body, etc. Basicly "look at me". I'm sorry to have to tell you all that it is not in fact a true story.

I watched it last night...i am wiccan too i have been for 2 years....i came out to my boyfriend and my mother after the first year and my boyfriend was fine with it....he actually started learning about it this year....mom blew up and called me the devil child and she wanted me out of the house...it blew a huge hole in me but after the 2nd year i explained to her how wrong she was for saying the things she did and acting the way she did...i explained to her how much it hurt me...she has decided to let me practice freely without having to look over my shoulder every minute to see if someone is looking over it....my friends are fine with it too so i got lucky...
i watched this movie last night and it made me sad because this happens to alot of wiccans...discrimination....its a shame and its not right....people should be free to believe the way they feel is right without being criticized...

I hadn't heard of this. I'll spread the word. Thanks!

I don't have a television and tonight's the full moon, and this evening's hostess is also an anti-TV Pagan, so it looks like I won't be seeing it.

I am not Wiccan or Pagan but I will most likely watch it - now that you mentioned it.
