He said ""It is finished""

HE indicated that HE had indeed fulfilled HIS Bible prophecy.

WE ARE SAVED IF WE CHOOSE TO BE!

Mat 27:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"

Never were there three such hours since the day that God created man upon the earth, never such a dark and awful scene; the crisis of that great affair of man's redemption and salvation.
2. How he complained of it (Mat_27:46); About the ninth hour, when it began to clear up, after a long and silent conflict. Jesus cried, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? The words are related in the Syriac tongue, in which they were spoken, because worthy of double remark, and for the sake of the perverse construction which his enemies put upon them, in putting Elias for Eli. Now observe here,
(1.) Whence he borrowed this complaint - from Psa_22:1. It is not probable (as some have thought) that he repeated the whole psalm; yet hereby he intimated that the whole was to be applied to him, and that David, in spirit, there spoke of his humiliation and exaltation. This, and that other word, Into thy hands I commit my spirit, he fetched from David's psalms (though he could have expressed himself in his own words), to teach us of what use the word of God is to us, to direct us in prayer, and to recommend to us the use of scripture-expressions in prayer, which will help our infirmities.

Finished.....

All debt is paid in full. You just need to accept that He paid the penalty.

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.
This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.
If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.
What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

Luke 23:34; Father forgive them for they know not what they do?
Luke 23:43; I tell you to-day, you will be with me in paradise.
Matt.27:46; My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?

John 20:17; My God and you God, my Father and your Father. Matt.22:37-40; the law hangs upon the first and great commandment. HE IS SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. Matt.28:18-20; All power is given[GIVEN BY A GIVER], me [Jesus ], in heaven and in earth and the LORD GOD OF HOST has performed this Isa.9:6,7; IN Heb.1:1-13; The enemy is Satan the god of this world 2Cor,4:3,4; He must come down Rev.12:7-12; AND HAVE A SHORT TIME
and Jesus Heb.2:9,14,16; has the qualifications to rank as our Lord God to do this Rev.20:1-6; Satan in pit. 1Cor.22-28; When the kingdom is handed back to LORD God and Father, he is all in all. Rev.3:12; Jesus is a son.

John 10:34-36; Jesus called them gods to whom the word of god came.

So it means to us today that the LORD God and Father is working with his anointed Lord God Son as one to save the world that for hundreds of years has been in need to be SAVED, when we are saved all angels and humankind are children of the LORD God and Father in perfection. as the world Jesus is in will never end Eph.3:21; Matt,24:3,7,14,15,22,36-38[ Only God knows the day and hour the world Satan has been in since Eden will end];

Here are two verses I found on JESUS'S last words.
Luke 23:46 JESUS called out with aloud voice
"Father , into your hands I commit my spirit"
When he had said this, he breathed his last.

John19:30 When he had received the drink, JESUS said
"It is finished". With that, he bowed his head, and gave
up his spirit.
I would say it was Luke 23:46.
"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit"

His last words were "it is finished"

I take this to mean, that He was officially ending the old ways of doing things and was bringing in the dispensation of grace.

I also take it to mean that He was, and is, the author and finiseher of our faith, and there will be no other gospel given to man.

It is finished. It signifies that Christ's redemptive work on the cross is finished, complete, totally successful. Now that redemption is available for all who will put their trust in Him.

"Eli, Eli, Lama Sabatchani" ....means God, God, why thou forsaken me? simply means that there is another god than Jesus (A.S.) tell me, do god seek the help of other god?

"Eli" is a semetic word which to pronounce as Eli, Ella, Allah!"

God is not begotten nor begot any son.

Think of it : 1 + 1 + 1 = 1? a great fool formula. ...and you would say "in God, everything is possible" even the ungodly thing like theft, kidnapping, etc".
