Yes it really happened and he didn't just kill Jews.

Yes it did, and besides the millions of Jews he wiped out millions of Gypsies and Russians as well as Poles, French, Handicapped people (physical and mental), Homosexuals and Christians and others who didn't fit their Aryan supremest views in the process.
I was in Israel many years ago and saw a Jew with a tattoo on his arm - it was a number. I asked him which concentration camp he'd been in and I think he said it was Belson. Jews don't tattoo themselves by free choice. My best friend at school's mother was Polish and she wouldn't talk about the atrocities she'd seen.
Did you watch the series "Easy Company" on TV? US Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division discovered a concentration camp. The Soldiers were walking through this forest and were saying things like "What is that strange smell"? and "Why aren't there any birds or animals around"? Then they found the camp. It was so horrible that even the wildlife couldn't stand it. The film makers toned it down for TV, but it still showed the absolute horror of what they found.
It wasn't a myth, the people who say it is a myth are themselves the myth makers.

It happened. There are still survivors from that horrible tradgedy alive today. Every time I see "Schindler's List", I cry. Every time I hear a story about survival in those years, I cry & feel proud that they made it out alive. So many died for simply being Jewish. Hitler was a madman on a sick crusade. His mother molested him as a boy & I suppose his actions justified her atrocities on her son in his eyes.
See the movies, "Schinlder's List" & "The Diary of Anne Frank". Those movies should open your eyes in a whole new way. Go to the library & check out some books about the Holocaust.

there are photos, diaries, newspaper accounts, video, and eyewitness testimony. also, there was the unexplained death of some 6 million people...too much evidence.
that's like asking if 9/11 was invented to make bin Laden to look bad.

Yes, it did happen. If you look around at movie stores you can sometimes find actual video footage of it. You could also go to a library to find out more.
