for my last question. I was irritated with some of the answers I was reading and decided to vent. I know this wasn't the proper way to do it and I am sorry to all of you.

Here's a news story about another monument soon to be extinct because our history "offends" people.

(Korean War Veteran Memorial, erected in 1953, a 30ft cross sits on top of it)

“Our nation’s landmarks that give assent to our Christian Heritage are rapidly facing extinction,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman

The church I want to join is a great church with great values. It will keep me out of trouble for the rest of my life. She doesn't like it because people have been mean to her because she hasn't join the church yet. She thinks if I join I am going to treat her badly and I'm not going to. I have made up my mind and I'm not going to change my mind which church to join because I have already chosen one.
It's a great church and there is nothing bad about it. Every time I ask her she laughs at me and changes the subject. She rufuses to let me ask her. How can I tell her this is what I really want and have her listen to me and maybe sometime soon she'll let me join without hurting her feelings?

(God's Book of Ben 9:3-4) Kosmon said: Let the wise man and the prophet consider the signs of the Almighty! Two extremes forerun the change of the Gods and Saviors in heaven: These are,
extreme disbelief and extreme belief. The one denieth all Gods, and even the person of the Creator; the other becometh a runner after the spirits of the dead, consulting seers and oracles.
4. Esfoma said: These signs are my signs. When these come, behold, the Almighty hath a new deliverance on hand

What do you think God should do?
If we were in the place where God is/was when this happens, what would we do?
If all is destoyed, to start over or leave it off altogether, the 6000 years of life in people would not have happened.
It could not be said, 4,200 years after Eden, As in Adam, all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 1Cor.15:22;
Some times we need to examine the situation very close, and try to understand, why, how, what and all the questions that can come to mind.

My friend is a Muslim...we (his non-Muslim school friends) NEVER try to talk him out of Islam, nor do we use any forms of drugs or commit crimes. We respect him, his family, & his faith.
He has introduced us to his family, but it seems they really don't like us too much & especially don't like him being our friend.
Why is this? Is there any way for us to better the situation?
Please help!
Peace Be With You.

I hear many people say that Jehovah Witness, LDS, RLDS are mislead. While I don't practice their beliefs..they still worship Jesus, ask for forgiveness. In the bible the way to heaven is through him. Is it the protestant belief that they can still go to heaven?

Ok I have a few brief questions. I am a born-again Christian looking for a critical scientific look at creation.

1) Should there have been a spark/explosion/chemical reaction to create a universe why do we have light? Once a star explodes and becomes a supernova it consumes all the light around it becoming a black hole. Should this incredible reaction have occurred how could we have light?

2) There have been over 30 documented cases of finding children over age 10 never having been taught to speak. In every case this child is never able to learn a language with consistency. If we should have evolved from a less advanced species learning a vocal language would be impossible, would it not?

This is it for now. A longer question wouldn't generate a response.

The average atheist might be "good" compared to conservative white southern christians and radical muslims. Just putting in your two cents worth and not offending anyone does not make you holy though. Would an atheist ever be willing to sacrifice their whole lives and forego earthly pleasure, like Gandhi or Mother Theresa?
