Well it certainly seems like a dodgy book to me. 'The true Bible for these times' what a load of rubbish. The true bible for these times has to be 'THE HOLY BIBLE' none other. Regardless wehther another might say things that ok at the time. By the way, I thought the passage you quoted was rubbish it don't make sense.
