come on, there is always the confessional place you know. It's like a precription, once a day or a week to keep the devils away. See how easy their moral problems can be solved.
Every time they take the magical confessional pill, they turn back to saints instantly, not hours, not days, but immediately. Hence always take it a couple times, then no more problems. It's really a mystery to me why the FDA hasnt approve it for everyone.

I am a born again believer and I am an imperfect human being. I can't quite see how you equate human imperfection with hypocrisy.
If you can show me your rules that say Christians are not allowed to drink alcohol, do drugs, swear, judge others, covet, lire, steal, etc., I'd sure like to see them.
That being said, "Christians are human beings, just like you, and make mistakes, just like you. I have never met a "Christian" that is not a sinner and I doubt that I ever will.
I think you might have a little confusion over what a Christian" is, or is supposed to be. A "Christian" is loosely defined as someone who follows the teachings of Jesus, The Christ. I say "loosely" because there are a great many people in this world who call themselves by the name of Christ who would have a hard time defining who Jesus is and why He came.
There sure seems to be a lot of Christian bashing going on here as well!
It took me a long time to come to know Jesus for a lot of reasons, and one of the reasons was that I knew a few "Christians" who attended the same parties I did, drank the same drinks, chased the women/men, and generally acted just like me. I could not get the "hypocrisy" of it either. The part I was not getting, however, was that none of these folks were claiming to be perfect, they were just living their lives, making mistakes, and screwing up, just like me, although usually they got up a lot quicker than I did and tended to stay on their feet a lot longer. I always wondered where they got that strength and that beautiful smile!
I ridiculed them and pointed at them as hypocriytes, when the real hyporcite was me; at least they were trying to be better than they were, I was just being judgemental and condeming of them!
We all fall down, we all make mistakes and we all have hard times. I do know that if you bash every "Chrisitian" you come across, you'll probably miss out on some great potential friendships. I'd rather have a true believer by my side than anyone in hard times, and especially in the good times.
Yes, there are "Christians" who try too hard to convince you that they "know a better way", and sometimes they get downright pushy and rude and maybe, just a trifle judgemental and condeming. Been there done that, got a closet full of t-shirts and made many, many mistakes along the way.
Try to be a little patient with the next person who tries to tell you about Jesus and keep in mind that the reason they are going out of their way to tell you, is because they want THE BEST for you! Really!

Drink alcohol? No, because before I became a Christian I had a chemical addiction to alcohol and so it's not in God's will for MY life for me to drink. But drinking isn't a sin. Being a drunkard is a sin.
Smoke? You mean cigarettes? Yeah, I still smoke cigarettes because it's not a sin and I'm not controlled by them. I don't smoke pot anymore though like I used to every day before I became a Christian.
Swear? No, the last time I said a swear word was when one slipped out when I was driving for the first time in 5 years after I got my license back. But I used to swear all of the time and try to outdo my friends in clever ways of combining swear words.
Judge others? That's a tough one to overcome because I have to remember that I can't know a person's heart even if their actions and their words seem to be telling me something bad about them. But I'm getting better!
Covet? No, I don't want anything that anyone else has. God supplies all of my needs and I'm not caught up in the pursuit of possessions. I look forward to eternal rewards instead.
Lie? No, I don't lie. The last time I told a lie was when a 5 year old was trying to get me to buy something and I said I didn't have the money but the Holy Spirit made me go back and admit that I wasn't telling the truth to her. That was about 4 years ago.
Stolen? No, I've never stolen anything since becoming a Christian but before that I stole things when I was with my friends who wanted to steal and I went along with them.
As to your charge of someone being either a liar or a hypocrite, you seem to be under the misapprehension that a Christian is supposed to be living a sin free life. God doesn't ask us to do the impossible. He only calls us to live a life of immediate repentance when we slip into sinful behavior and to confess our sins to Him.
By the way, I've only been a Christian for about a little over 4 years, so maybe one day God will tell me to stop smoking cigarettes and if He does then I will.

I never claimed personal perfection. I have drank, I've never smoked anything, I've never done drugs; I do swear occasionally;
I do judge others-to a point; I do lie every now and then and yes, I have stolen-a pack of gum from Kroger's when I was small. If I was perfect, I would be God. There is no such thing as a perfect person. I can only do the best I can do. Besides, it sounds as if YOU are judging me.

My heavens, I on no account had been flashed, but I did unintentionally flash a number of individuals as soon as. I was in the hospital a while back and made up our minds to take a stoll to the vending subject. Well, I wasn't occupied with what I was once sporting and, let's simply say that these medical institution robes do not go away quite a bit to the imagination on the backside. The nurse came up from behind me and put a blanket over my shoulders . . . I used to be wondering why it was a little drafty back there!

Well, I wasn't considering what I used to be dressed in and, permit's simply say that the ones health center robes do not depart plenty to the creativeness at the bottom. The nurse got here up from in the back of me and positioned a blanket over my shoulders . . . I used to be puzzling over why it used to be a bit drafty again there!

What "Christian" hurt you?
I am sorry that they did.
The definition of hypocrite: a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he or she does not hold in order to conceal his or her real feelings or motives, also one who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not.
The definition of hypocricy:The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness. Ok first. Yes we all have sinned! Yes we will contunue to sin, for we are that- sinners.
But the grace here is that we are forgiven. That is the beauty of it. FORGIVENESS. That is the foundation of "Christianity"
It sounds to me that you have been judged by someone.
That is their sin. And for that they will answer to God, someday. All you need to worry about is you and your walk. Please go to the person that has offended you and tell them that you forgive them. Really this is all there is. Then after that move on. Get you walk right... if you are not saved .... seek out someone who can help you with that. Then be a better "christian" than the example that was set for you. Be a better testimony. And most of all enjoy the grace God gives you every day!

Christians are not perfect. That's precisely why we needed Jesus to come to Earth and give his life. We know we're not perfect, and in my eyes, someone that says they're perfect is sinning.
I wasn't always a Christian... wasn't until 2003, actually. Heck, I'll admit it! In school and with parents I was always the 'perfect' child, but in all reality I had a real huge struggle with 'online purity.' Yes, I looked at things I shouldn't have, and yes, I sinned, but yes, I asked for forgivness. Sure... I still struggle with my mind sometimes, but I know that I need to keep it under control and repent with every wrong direction I take.
I despise the taste of beer and I'm allergic to cigarette smoke XD No drrrrugs for me.

How are we a hypocrite for saying "Yes, I sin"? Not all Christians go around condemning everyone. I don't. I know I'm not perfect & that nobdy else is because we are human. I've done 5 of the things you've listed, but I'm not ashamed because God has forgiven us all. I hope you understand what I'm saying. By the way, Jesus love you.

Even though I'm an atheist you need to calm down, kid. Most sane Christians acknowledge they do things, but they repent and ask for forgiveness because, as they believe, everyone is with sin. This doesn't make them liars or hypocrites, this just makes them a tad realistic.

To infer that a Christian who admits that they have done any of these things is a hypocrite is totally wrong. Even Christians sin - in fact the Bible teaches that all men (and women) sin. The only difference is that it is hoped that when a Christian sins, they will acknowledge that sin and through prayer ask for the strength to cease engaging in that sinful act or deed.
