You shouldn't "hate" anyone. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

If you're a Christian, it means you're a hypocrite. You see, I am an atheist and a Satanist. Hating people for their religious views just goes to show how close-minded you are, and many others having a religion can be. Doesn't your prophet tell you to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", or something like that? Hell are those kind verses easy to forget when you need to!
Other than that, I don't believe in deities or in afterlife. Hate me all you want. But I am not one that, as your religion professes, "turns the other cheek".

I'm Christian and no, it's not normal to h.ate athiests. If you're Christian than you know that h.ate is a sin in itself.
Jesus hung out with some very 'interesting' people, such as p.rostitutes and tax collectors.
Even athiests were created by God, just like you.

Even if it is normal, is it good? Even if they are wrong, is that cause to hate them? (And how do you know you hate *all* atheists?) Is the simple fact that somebody believes something grounds to hate them, regardless of what else is true about them? Even if atheism is wrong, does not your own religious teachings (assuming you are Christian and not some other brand of theist) tell you to hate the sin, but love the sinner?

Its normal to hate or dislike people....its not the right thing to do tho. With athiests We hate(we should hate it because even tho it is natural to sin, God hates sin and we as people sin all the time) what they are doing and dislike and do not approve of what they believe. As people and as christians we should love them the same way christ loved us. we should pray for them...for them to find God and love him the way christians should. :)

(Christians aren't supposed to hate anyone).
It's typical to hate atheists, but not normal. Hate is too strong a word to use like that. It's very hard (or should be) to hate someone just because of their opinion or religious preference.

Personally, I have a problem with idiots in general. Whether or not you believe in God means nothing to me. You could be an atheist, and I'd like you because you use your brain and don't peddle your beliefs on my head as I do the same on both accounts.

No, it is never acceptable for a Christian to hate anyone. We may hate what they do, what they stand for, but not the person. When Jesus was having nails pounded into His hands and feet, and was hung on the cross to die, did He hate those who did it? No, He asked His Father to forgive them. Should we do any less?

Scriptures tell us to hate is to be of the world and that if we are of the world we are not of God - so no, it should not be normal if you are a Christian.
