You are obviously against abortion and obviously against gay unions and gay parenting.

What are YOU doing about these poor children besides limiting their futures with a loving family?

I *really* want to know...

Some peole feel the need to start a question in an intentially rude manner. They start out purposely insulting others who do believe. I don't think it's neccesary to be rude on purpose. Let's try to be friendly and civil. I know we can't all agree as that would make this an exercise in futility.

If God gave us free will to do as we please, isn't it His fault if we sin? If he wanted us all to be good to each other and follow His word, why did he give us the opportunity to choose? Also, I hear people say, "God has a plan for you" or "It is God's will for you to do this." If this is true, why would He punish a sinner? Wasn't it His will? I'm not trying to start arguments. This is something I've pondered for some time. And please don't rebut by quoting the Bible. That will not do anything.

This philosophical question is about how you came to believe what you believe. Did it come from an earnest search with a practical methodology, or we're you unduly influenced and not careful to test out claims that were made as well as intently researching alternatives?

Obviously, most questions in the religion & Spirituality category are flamebaited. I don't like flamebaiting, but I can see it works. Why are some of these responses so emotional when the question is obviously baited for an entertainment value?

I am going to be making some big decisions here shortly, and would just like for everyone to pray that I will do God's will not what I want to do. Which I want to do God's will. I have been praying for the past month or so ,about this, and I thik thatGod is calling me to be a missionary, in Africa, or some place like that. I wanted to be a docot, befor I felt this in my heart, and I know that there are medical missionarys , but I don't think that , that is what God wants me to do.Please pray for me that I will seek his will, and not let flesh get in the way.

There are many verses in Quran that assure Muslims that god will definitely answer whatever they ask in their prayers. Some of those verses are [2:186, 40:60] and many others.

If this is the case, why did not god answer all the prayers from all muslims all over the years? No offense, but anyone can realize that Muslim countries are among the least developed countries although many of them are among the richest countries in the world.

Why muslims are still less developed, why they have the highest disease ratios and the least literacy ratios? Why does not god simply answer their prayers and make them the most powerful countries all over the world?

[please note that in all those verses, god gave UNCONDITIONAL promise to answer anyone who ask him]

He is my cousin and I love him like a brother, He is immature and almost impossible to reason with. Everything in life to him is a joke. He lives in his own fiction bubble. He was not raised with a very good family as I was. His parrents are divided on the issue of God. So He has disided to try and create his own truth to life, He is constantly expossed to peer pressure, they have a bad influence on hm. I know that he is not saved, I only know that it hurts to see my only friend slowly slip away. I've tryed to tell him about Jesus, all that I can do know is pray for him. I'm asking is their anyone that can pray for him, or that could give me some tips to try and reach him? It's hard to deal with the fact of his future eternal destination, forever without God. We are good friends and we live so far apart, I wish that I could have been a better influence in his life. Would anyone please pray for him?

If they were then doesn't that mean that their children must have had sex, and their children after them and so on and so on? Or did God create others afterwards making sure that there could be no incest? Isn't incest a sin?
Or is the story of Adam and Eve a metaphor and if so then for what?
Please, when you reference the Bible, do it in your own words
thanks
peace

that he was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ as it is the power of God unto salvation to all who will believe. Does this mean that there is no other way to go to heaven like praying to Mary and the Saints, keeping the 10 Commandments, praying the rosary, being kind to my neighbour and doing good deeds?? or is believing the Gospel the only way??
