I am going to be making some big decisions here shortly, and would just like for everyone to pray that I will do God's will not what I want to do. Which I want to do God's will. I have been praying for the past month or so ,about this, and I thik thatGod is calling me to be a missionary, in Africa, or some place like that. I wanted to be a docot, befor I felt this in my heart, and I know that there are medical missionarys , but I don't think that , that is what God wants me to do.Please pray for me that I will seek his will, and not let flesh get in the way.

I will certainly pray, but you must remember that no matter what God has in store for you that you must be bold for Christ without being over-zealous. God will direct you and set you where He wants you to be; just continue to give your all to HIM and diligently seek His face. The Apostle Paul once said that he was "pressing toward the mark of the high calling of God," meaning that he was striving every day to be where God wanted him to be; therefore we can do no less.

really? A doctor/missionary in Africa? Well really...God bless you. Be careful though. Ebola and some other horrible stuff is there plus with the tribal wars and warlords there you never know which was the tide is going to swing.

be very careful but the very best of luck to you. Thank you for being a humanitarian. All too few in the world.

I believe that the answer to your question will come to you more clearly by praying to god yourself to direct you. Give it more time and the answer will become more clearer by praying for guidence. You will know the right thing to do when the time is right, have patience and god will deliver. And Yes I will pray for you right now. Have faith in god to help you make the right decisions, but I do believe he would want you to do what is right for you, because he loves you

I most certainly will not. I think its utterly stupid to not only place your faith in an unseen fictional being, but believing that some strangers muttering to said being can help you find your answers.
clear your head of this religious dogma and then think about what you really want to do. because after all it is your life and whats the point of doing what you think your "god" wants when its not really where your interests or heart lies.
unless you like famine and disease, i would stay out of africa.

You sound like a wonderful person and I will pray for you. God will show you the right way for you if you allow him (or her). We need more people like you in this world.

don't do anything which you repent later in life.if you need inspiration from others for the 'act' whose fruits only you will reap, then you alone are to decide for your 'act'.since you have attached a motive---of service--- to your act you need others approval or praise!listen to your conscience Kidd--of course if your parents do permit---devote your life for a cause which is loved by GOD&by others as well.in this noble act all are with you with a prayer for your well being and the fulfilment of your cherished desire, which is for the betterment of the destitute.be happy in life.little-self

You want to do gods will, not what you want to do, but you want to do gods will. Kind of contradictory, don't you think? And you have been praying for a month?

That is really beautiful I think it's the first prayer request I've seen
on here, why hasn't anyone else thought of that? Think of the
sheer numbers alone! Yes, sweetheart, I will.
