I will be the first to admit that there are questions that I, as a Christian Pastor, won't bother with.
However there are many questions that while asked in a sarcastic and vile manner should still be answered.
I answer all questions to the absolute best of my ability.

Not really. Both groups are quite close-minded to other points-of-view. Agnostics keep an open mind and will believe what can be proven to them. Flamebaiting is practised by immature, ignorant and uneducated people who have no intention of attempting to learn the truth. They must lead very dull lives.

Because it's more than "entertainment" to someone who's truly striving to be better than they are spiritually. They feel a love for God and their fellow man and wish to share their perceptions. Granted, some of the discussions get a bit over-heated, but knowledge can be found in the heart of those who react to someones question and argument in a positive light, trying to see the other person's point of view and using Scripture to defend themselves without appearing judgmental to the person they're sharing their opinion with.

Well, some people can talk for them self. I do take Christianity seriously because when the Lord made a decision to die in the cross for our sin he was serious and never change His mind on walking "La Via Dolorosa". When I speak of the word of God and counsel others I am serious in willing to help other see the light and walk through the true way which is JESUS.
Now, you say, Why am I real? BECAUSE JESUS IS REAL!

Some don't but many do.
Check out the question I asked about the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Man I could not believe the number or answers I got that took it seriously!
I mean some of these people REALLY need a sense of humor!

I take every question 100% seriously. I enjoy hearing other viewpoints about God and sharing my faith. I love having my faith challenged. It gives me an opportunity to go back through the scriptures and see if what I believe is real or not. So far, all evidence that I have studied shows that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

Yes, some do. My husband asks questions all the time and its not that he's baiting, it's more that he really tries to understand how someone can think so differently from him. Most people don't really know what they believe...so the answers are usually pretty shallow and not well thought out.

yeah, you're right. most of the questions in here are only asked to get a rise out of people, but there are some who are truly seeking an answer. God is important to me and whether or not they're just trying to get a rise out of me is not. if they want an answer, they're gonna get it. i don't care if they take it seriously or not. i do, but not everyone else will. that just the way things are.

Sometimes, I really want to know something, but I have realized that I will never get a sensible answer on a sincere question. So, I'm having fun with it.

Probably some do, but it is hard to convince anyone to change their minds in such discussions. Most probably do little more than find proof for what they already believe, and shout out their contempt for those who disagree.
