Hey folks, I believe if I read the question correctly, the man, errr....the monkey was asking if the Bible was 100% accurate, not 100% true. While these too things are similar, they are not exactly the same.
Accuracy can be verified although there's an assumption that the premise is true. Truth, or the proclaimed of truth, is not as verifiable. A truth will need to be proved, a much more complicated procedure than verified.
As to the question, some parts of the Bible may be accurate, however, some parts of the Bible which retell the same occurrence are contradictory in details, clearly not an example of accuracy.

No, not all of it. But some of it is. Although some people may say that yes they believe that the bible is 100% accurate and true, it is not, and they probably haven't even researched everything. Some people cannot see that some of the bible is contradictory, although other people who do not believe at all in any word of the bible are blind to the fact that many things in the bible are accurate. The only way to know for sure is to research all the different versions of the bible or better yet, get your hands on the first version of the bible. Although some people say that there are only two copies of the first version are left on this planet, both in the middle east, you can easily find a copy anywhere in the United States, under a different name, but every single word is the same. I'll leave you to figure out which book is exactly the same as the first version of the bible, word for word.

So you are an atheist?
If G-d couldn't part the Red Sea surely he could not create the universe huh?
General info on the Bible
The Bible consists of 66 books: 39 in the OT and 27 in the new. The Bible took about 1600 years to write. It was written in three languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) by about 40 authors and is internally consistent throughout.
Reliability of the Bible
The Bible is 98½ percent textually pure. Through all the copying of the Biblical manuscripts of the entire Bible, only 1½% has any question about it. Nothing in all of the ancient writings of the entire world approaches the accuracy of the biblical documents.
The 1½ percent that is in question does not affect doctrine. The areas of interest are called variants and they consist mainly in variations of wording and spelling.
The NT has over 5000 supporting Greek manuscripts existing today with another 20,000 manuscripts in other languages. Some of the manuscript evidence dates to within 100 years of the original writing. There is less than a 1% textual variation in the NT manuscripts.
Some of the supporting manuscripts of the NT are:
John Rylands MS written around 130 A.D., the oldest existing fragment of the gospel of John
Bodmer Papyrus II (150-200 A.D.)
Chester Beatty Papyri (200 A.D.), contains major portions of the NT
Codex Vaticanus (325-350 A.D.), contains nearly all the Bible.
Codex Sinaiticus (350 A.D.), contains almost all the NT and over half of the OT

I truly beleive in it. Recently there was a group of scientists that went out to try and prove the Bible wrong starting with the parting of the Red Sea, what they found there was such bad erosion and markings on the Sea Floor that only if the Sea was parted for a long time those things would happen. They found such things in everything they tried to disprove of the Bible, they are now all true believers in God's word.

yes 100% ACCURATE That does not mean that copyist have not made mistakes or that translators have not made errors. Also many people have misinterpreted it. So when they say they have found an inconsistency or a something that is false it really is not the bible that is wrong. Unfortunately most of the people here know next to nothing about the book that they hate so much.

History has shown that the bible has been kept faithful to the original translations on which it was based. Those writings are faithful to the One who dictated them (God). As for the validity of the text. The prophecies concerning the coming of Christ (Jesus), He fulfilled every one of them to date. The chances of one man doing just 8 of them is so astronomically high (something like a 1 to 1 w/18 zeros against.) He fulfilled some where in the order of 60 of them you do the math or do a google on this. (is God real) see what you learn
