I mean think about it, nobody messes with the hindus, buddhists, etc.--only the Christians. Do you think that's because everyone knows that our God is the only true one so that's why they hate us--because they know the truth and are too afraid to admit it? I mean if everyone believed the hindu god was real or the buddhist god was real we would all be after them right? But everyone knows they aren't real so they don't need to worry about the hindu god, buddhist god, etc...only ours because He's real??

I know this question has been ask many times before and no believer has been able to give true proof. I understand that you have faith and that is what it is all about and I respect that. I have nothing against Christans or any other believer. But I still see so many answers that include something like "History and archeology prove the BIBLE as true" or "The Bible is being proved true all the time". What is the proof?

Again I am not try to question anyones faith, I am just curious.

Muslims believe that Allah is the author of the Quran, yet the first surah (Fatihah, The Opening) is clearly a prayer addressed to Allah.

Other passages which could not have been authored by Allah: 6:104, 6:114, 37:164-6, 51:50, 84:16

So, who wrote it?

Nothing of our revelation (even a single verse) do we abrogate or cause be forgotten, but we bring (in place) one better or the like thereof.

And when We put a revelation in place of (another) revelation, - and Allah knoweth best what He revealeth - they say: Lo! thou art but inventing. Most of them know not.

If god is supposed to be all-loving and all forgiving then why does he not let you into heaven if you don't believe in him, that doesnt sound all forgiving to me, sounds like god a is a selfish child, or an attention whore.

Is there a pagan church? Are they associated with the wicca sect? What do they worship if it is that there are pagan alters......What do they sacrifice or do they just burn incense?? I know the meaning of the word has traveled far from its original context but I am not sure of its true meaning now and I would like to know. Thankyou.

Ali vrs Frazier...Sparta vrs Troy...FDR vrs Hitler...George Bush vrs Islam....Cortez vrs the Aztecs...The crusaders vrs Salidan...

The mighty Buddha vrs the intellectual giant Jesus

Who is worthy...the easy going Buddha with pure love in his heart or the fiery Jesus who left us all so very much to fight about.

Buddhists never bother anyone and the last time I checked no wars have begun in his name.

Christians believe you are going straight to hell if you do not accept Jesus as your savior and countless wars and millions of deaths are directly related to Jesus name.

If peace and love and forgiveness are part and parcel of Jesus salvation why then have so many been cruely punished in his name?

If the Buddha is the better man which the past 2000 years have shown to be the case why then do Christians continue to consider Buddhism to be a cult and not a religion?

Who was the better man...Jesus and millions dead in his name or the Buddha with zero dead in name?

From my observations, I often wonder... As Christians, shouldn't we be modeling 2nd Kings 6:8-23. Love is the only way to conquer evil.

I devoted 2 years of my life studying nothing but the bible, so I have some idea what I am talking about. Though there are nuggets of wisdom scattered throughout the book there are also conflicting passages and historical claims about God that seem down right evil. I do believe there is a loving God but do not believe God told the Israelites to commit Genocide like it says in the bible. According to the bible he called for not only the death of the men of war, but all the men, women, children, babies, animals, trees, as well as knocking the buildings to the ground, a scorched earth policy. I believe this portion of the bible is a political text used to motivate people to do morally difficult things. If you think it is God's will it is much easier to take over other peoples land via murder and rape. It’s claimed God had a softening of heart at some point and the men could keep the virgins for themselves from the invasions. How convenient (said like the "Church Lady").

Western people consider their freedom and rights as sacred, but do these have a limit? I am a Muslim and I believe that I am a humble servant of Allah and my freedom is fulfilled by following his doctrine and I feel very happy, what is your opinion?

A. Christian parents who teach their children that that god will love them and forgive them for almost ANYTHING THEY DO(including murder, rape, ect.)

B. Atheists parents who teach their children that they are expected to have a high standard of behavior because the better you treat people, the better you feel about yourself.

I am mainly thinking of evolution and the nonsensical questions and statements I consistently read on here. Number one has to be the "Why are monkeys still here then?" argument. Then there is the "Where is the missing link?" and "Radiometric dating is inaccurate" arguments. None of these hold any water. They can all be successfully shown to support evolution by any freshman-level biology student. Should we blame our public education system, or theologically biased pseudo-scientists like Kent Hovind, or maybe the fundamentals of religion itself? In all I am just very sad to see how ignorant the general public is on such fundamental concepts.

It's right after the flood and Noa is about to let all the animals off the arc. Before he does, his wife comes over and says "This arc contains all the animals in the world! When we got off the arc, we'll have to make sure not to hunt them until they have some more children."
"Mmmm," Noa says "Your right. But it won't be fun going without meat until these animals reproduce. I'll have to tell them to have children faster."
So Noa opens the arc and says to all the animals "God has saved you from this great flood! All he asks you to do now is multiply and fill the corners of the earth! And be quick about! My family is getting hungry!"
All the animals rush off into the woods to start mulitiplying. But then Noa looks off the distance and finds a boy snake and a girl snake crying. "Why are you crying?" Noa asks the snakes "You should be out in the woods multiplying!"
"We're real sorry Moses," says the girl snake "but we can't multiply....

I ask questions that was set up for "Atheist" to be the obvious answer just to see what Christians would say. Every Christian refused to say "Atheist" because it would have given atheists credit. That's insanity.

Here are some examples

Which child is less likely to believe that there's an angel on top of the roof if a stranger told him.

A. A child being raised an Atheist
B. A child being raised a Christian

Note: Not one Christian chose A

Which child is more likely to grow up being good relying on these circumstances?

A A Christian child that is taught he's born a filty rag and god will forgive him and love him no matter what he does?

B. An atheist child that is taught he's born good and he's expected to have a high standard of behavior

Note: Not one Christian chose B

Isn't the answer obvious

This is why I dont trust Christians who know im an atheist
