Please don't tell me the Bible because a child can figure out that most of those stories are untrue. Why wouldn't He just write His name in lights in the night sky, or speak to everyone at once? Could it be that He is just a construct of the human psyche?

Today, it says "resting place". How does one word mean flat and then 8 years later mean resting place?

You can call it translation if you want. Its clearly been "updated" as people question its obvious flaws.

Any one who is defending the actions of extremist muslim states and many muslims in general is a traitor. She left a note for us to find where she really poured her heart out about her love for Jesus and us. She's 17, very sweet, and quite naive. I don't think a logical rundown of how we arrived at our beliefs and how hers are foolish is going to help her or us any. At the same time, given how the world is being put in terrible peril by religious fundamentalists of all kinds, I feel an obligation to show her there's more to believe than just what she's been told. And along with all of this, we don't want to lose our babysitter because we really like her.

This letter she wrote was 2 hand-written spiral notebook pages. So would you just politely say "No thanks" or give her more than that, and if so, what?

He it is Who hath created for you all that is on earth.
Then He turned to the heaven, and made them into seven heavens. -- Sura 2:29

Sura 41:9-12 also gives details on the creation process and confirms that the earth was created first and then the heavens.


But then we read also:
Are you the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built?
He raised the height thereof and ordered it;
and He has made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof.
And after that, He spread out the earth. -- Sura 79:27-30

A .A christian way- If you kill 10,000 people, repent and say you're sorry, you get to heaven and be happy which is the most important. You might go to jail but only god can judge.

B. An Atheist way-Murder is wrong. If you murder someone, you will be punished by man. There's no after life so we should treat eachother right because this is the one and only life we'll ever have

C A Christian way-No sin(murder, rape, lying, lusting) is greather then the other. They should be treated equally.

D An Atheist way-Murder is worse then lusting for your wife

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses dress up little kids to look poor in the winter and then knock on your door so you'll let them in because they look cold and then witness to you? Also, why do Jehovah's Witnesses have to have four door cars? Why aren't there any windows in their buildings?
