He it is Who hath created for you all that is on earth.
Then He turned to the heaven, and made them into seven heavens. -- Sura 2:29

Sura 41:9-12 also gives details on the creation process and confirms that the earth was created first and then the heavens.

But then we read also:
Are you the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built?
He raised the height thereof and ordered it;
and He has made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof.
And after that, He spread out the earth. -- Sura 79:27-30

If you care to spend a few minutes to look at the verse you'll realize that there is no inconsistency at all...in sura 2:29 it is proved scientifically that the earth has 7 layers forming the atmosphere, and the verse is talking about the sky (samaa') not heaven. If you bothe to read your science books, you'll know that the atmosphere was created much after the earth was....
As for 79:27-30 he is scientifically talking about the structure of the universe, which any tom, dick or harry will explain to you.
That is why the Quran will remain locked from human corruption, as its interpretation can only come from its original language-Arabic. Any false translations will simply contradict.
The contradiction is in your heart, my friend.

The Spider, he will NEVER e-mail answering-christiany.com because they have already answered his questions and exposed him. He is actually looking to target Muslims who lack the complete knowledge of Islam.

You think I am kidding? Here is a link to prove the person above is same person or one of his clones.

The Koran is corrupt, if you had read it before it was changed, it also said to beat you wives and that it could be changed at any time and that the sun sets in a pool of black mud.

There is no contradiction. The Koran was compiled in a non-sequential way. So, it is required that the Koran be read in totallity.
Arabic knowledge is MUST.
