The Bible warns about false prophets.
Islam seems to be leading a whole lot of people into beleiving that murder is acceptable. I havent read the Koran... I dont feel the need. I have what I need in Christ.

No-do a little history search. Islam or Mohammedanism is a corrupt murderous cult, and has been since it was started. It has never been a path to God, but only a brutal way to control poor people of the middle east. Those poor people have only one choice-Islam or die.

If you are a Christian, then you know that only God can judge and it is not right to ask for a person's judgment (Judge not that you may be judged). I try to live as a humanist and picture a higher power on the top of a mountain with lots of different paths going through different types of terrains leading to the top of the mountain.

Why the rhetorical question ? Does someone that follows Islam think other religions are an acceptable path to god ?

It can be acceptable. As long as you don't choose the wrong path within it. If you find it to be the right religion for you, go for it. But remember, Islam DOES NOT promote or condone being a martyr. So, don't join Islam for a reason to kill yourself or others.

NO. Mohamed had sex with young girls, he was a pedophile. The koran says to cut the heads and fingers and toes off non-believers. Nothing godly about that. It's an evil cult. Why do you think they cut innocent people's heads off? Why do they torture people? Read the koran. It goes on and on about how if you don't follow islam, you'll be tortured in hell. If you are muslim and you die in battle you'll go to heaven and have sex with virgins. The battle they're talking about is the battle with non-muslims, to force them to convert to islam. Would god want people to worship him by force?
You've got to be kidding!

Yes. One of the best analogies I've heard is that whatever higher power is out there is like a large, faceted diamond. Each religion is one facet. While on one particular facet, you can't understand or see the others, but you know that each of them is a part of the same larger thing as you.

IMO, religion is only the form we put to it and religion isn't really what matters. It's the spiritual progress, no matter the path, that matters. I believe that the Divine doesn't much care the form of address you use and that's what religion is. It's a form of addressing the Divine that is best suited to the person addressing Her/Him/It.

In many parts of the world it is the only form of worship to God. In many countries the bible is forbidden. They do not have many choices like in the west.

Unlike the factions of Islam that breed hate and destruction, God is LOVE!... it is the love in your heart and the love that you project and are willing to accept. Call it a leap of Faith, but I believe all of us together make and portray GOD. It is our faith in ourselves and each other that make the Love in us all, appear in many forms...
Buddha....Christ..... What ever you believe
