God is infinite, all knowing, all powerful, and all good. We on the other hand are finite, know some stuff, dont have much power, and all have a sense of moral judgement to some degree. God isn't limited by a physical presence, but that doesn't mean he can't have a physical presence at some time in this world. There are some features we share with God and some we don't. If God has no physical presence then he did not create us in a physical image of himself. He created us in an image of some of his non-material features. These include emotion, justice, morality, and creativity.

Hope i was helpful

I don't recall ever reading that God has no physical form. We have no way of knowing exactly what He looks like. I guess most people assume that God is a "Spirit" and therefore has no form. Perhaps that concept is held by many because the Holy Spirit, Part of the Trinity, (a Divine Mystery), is omnipresent and supposedly would not have a physical appearance. But I wouldn't want to go out on a limb on that either. I assume God the Father has a physicality because in the book of Genesis God states, to paraphrase, "Let us make a man. And God made man in His Own Image." I take that to mean in His Own Likeness. Some think it means in the image of His Spiritual Image. But I think when God breathed into the nostrils of Adam and as the Bible says "man became a living soul." The word "soul" leading me to believe that the Breath of God gave man his soul, and the soul of mankind, collectively and individually, has been yearning to return to God from whence it came. But then, that's just my opinion.

Very intresting question you have proposed. I would like to share with you some ideas and what you get from them is what you got from them. How you use this information is what you will get from it.
It is my belief that God has no physical form as God is the Holy Spirit. The soul of life. Being created in Gods image dosen't mean form, it is refered to in energy, actions, mannors, belief systems and spirit.
as a human being you have a body where as a soul has no form, true? The soul is the imagetery of each persons being. when we die we do not get to take anything from the earth plane with us, not our body, pocessions or loved ones just our soul.all mwe take with us is the energy of our soul and the knowledge and knowing we have experianced here on the earth plane.
So if you take that into cosideration that i believe is how we are created in Gods image. I invite you to check out my blogg Rev.Q yahoo 360 or email me at spmq@yahoo if you would care to discuss this further.
may God bless

The answer that made the most sense to me, among 55, was BB's, in which he mentioned God's creating human kind with both free will and a special intelligence, or creativity. This is what was explained to me by a wise old rabbi and teacher in one Sabbath lesson. I suppose the meaning hinges on the Hebrew word for "image."
There were other answers which told us about God's creation and humanity. For those of you who feel firmly there is no God, I would recommend Steven Antinoff's "Spiritual Atheism," a two-part article on being and meditation from an atheist point of view. It appeared in the May/June and July/August American Poetry Review.

God is a being of supernatural power. He could take a form if he wanted to. The power that he has enabled him to beable to creat everything that you come to expect, and appreciate in life. Since the interception of television people in mass quanities have been brain washed by others/ powerful people on television. I have even been effected by it. But the way I have been able to bounce back from is because I know that I know better then to beleive the skeptisism of everyone else. No matter how old you are/become, people of this world will always be impressionable and therfore will always be vonurable to the negativism of others skeptism. Because we are a unit of people that are oblivious and will always have our innocents even though we(the world) try to prove ourselves to each other that we are secure and have everything under control. Get inside of the head of the most hard core athiast in the world and you will find that, that person is the most insecure. The world is divided between beleivers and non-beleivers. Which side are you going to choose to be on.

God can SPEAK things into being! He can make and create anyone and anything He wants!!! God can and did take on physical forms for the slaves being led out of Egypt. He was a pillar of smoke during the day and a pillar of fire at night. My God is an AWESOME God. He appeared to Moses as a burning bush.

You don't have to see a million bucks to know it exists.
I don't believe the believe the Bible says he had no form. I do remember reading no one can look upon his face. So if no one is able to look at him, that doesn't mean he had no form. He appeared to Moses as a burning bush. He has the power to assume all forms. No one knows what form he is in heaven. But since the Bible does say that we are created in His own image, we assume that the human form is like Gods. That aside, we know we were created, and any artist knows, their creation is the image seen in their mind's eye.

God does have a form. How he chooses to revel Himself to a chosen few is His business. He can revel Himself as a cloud He was in during the Exodus, or a burning bush for Moses. We know God has a form because He created us in His image.

God is made up of three persons in one. The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost. God created man in his image because man is also made up of three parts, the body, soul and spirit. Genesis 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeper upon the earth
When Adam sinned we are not in the image of God but in the image of Adam. .Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: When the Lord Jesus came to earth to die for our sins He came as a man. Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: When He left the earth God sent the Holy Spirit to indwell the believer. 1 Corinthians 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? Now Jesus is sitting on the right hand of God the Father in the third heaven. Colossians 3: 1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
