Any one who is defending the actions of extremist muslim states and many muslims in general is a traitor. Many muslims would just as soon see all americans dead YOU CAN STOP DEFENDING THEM! they would rather kill you than look at you. stop the political correct bull and get a dose of reality. Islam is not all peaceful and they do not need nor want to be defended by sappy americans so STOP!

Islamic fundamentalists have just claimed control of Somalia - and some suspect they have ties to Al Qaeda. They've also started instituting Taliban-like rules. The chief contributor to their cause is none other than our great ally, Saudi Arabia. I think we should apply your criteria to a government that defends states like Saudi Arabia, i.e., the Bush White House. Agreed?

Although I do share your opinion about the Muslim "extremists" I find your comment about people defending them, traitors as you called them, to be untrue. The great thing about America; you can disagree with the government, the society, and the whole.
I do wish that the American public could see the extremists for what they really are; barbarians taking a beautiful religion to the extreme. Every religion has the ability to be taken to far. When that happens you segregate a population and hurt the ones who do not agree with you. When a religion is used to hurt society, no matter what creed, color, or language you speak, it has been taken too far.
The Islamist terrorists think our wealth and power are unrelated to anything in the soul of this country—that we are basically a godless nation, indeed the enemies of God.
We are, in fact, a society that will dig until it has found every body in the World Trade Center rubble—because at some level it believes every individual is created in the image of God—a society that raises $600 million for the victims in two weeks, is a godless, spiritless places? Guess again.
