. . . with billions of galaxies. What makes you think that you're so special that God cares at all about you individually?

It's scary, isn't it.
If you believe that God created the Universe
than you have to believe that we were created
in his image and he gave us "His Breath of Life".
His ESSENCE is in all of us. We are from God.
He cares, like a father for his child.
We are very special to him.
He also gave us "Free Will" - we can do what our
little hearts desire, good or bad. But if we meet "Our Maker"
in the end we have to be accountable for our
actions, good or bad. That is Judgement Day.
If you believe in Evolution - than we are just a speck
of universal dust.

That's the wonderful thing about God, He knows when a sparrow falls from its nest and He runs the universe and Galaxy's. God made the earth compatible for human life and humans for His pleasure. Its a pleasure for God to be worshiped by people with a free will. God loves you as an individual so much He gave His only begotten Son to come to the earth and die for us to pay for our sins. God looks forward to the day when His children come to live with Him forever.

Good question... Because He's my Daddy! And I'm telling on you...! Daddy...? There's this one person on a planet of billions of people, in a galaxy of billions of stars, in a universe with billions of galaxies that doesn't KNOW You care about him individually. And he needs to know real bad... I'll bet he's a pretty nice guy, too... Please show Him an extra helping of lovingkindness today. Thanks...!

particular. besides the fact that - particular, there is often the 'yet' clause - you're no longer taking into attention time. it may desire to be that this different planet has already had existence on it and burned out or has no longer yet progressed right into a existence-riddled planet. besides the fact that, what if the existence is on the incorrect undeniable? It exists yet we can't see it and it may no longer see us. Quantum time, dudes...

I'm not special. God just chose to save us and thinks that we are special, so I'll ask God what makes me so special that he loves me, as well as every other person in the world.

Personally, I am not "special" but God does care for each person.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him shall never perish but have everlasting life- John 3:16

God showed His love by allowing His Son to die a horrific death to pay for our sins so we would not have to pay it ourselves. And whosoever means anybody who wants to can.

One could counter that by arguing as God is limitless (omnipresent and omniscient) the sheer size of this glorious universe offers Him no problem; in His particular consideration of each and every one of us, individually.

If there is a God, he would have the ability to intellectually consider the thoughts, ideas, opinions, actions, and fate of all peoples unbiasedly and knowledgeably. Don't underestimate God's power, it would be infinite.
