I believe in unconditional love. God shows His love for us in that He gave His life for us, when we didn't even deserve it. And yes we should be modeling that love towards others, despite the fact that as sinners we constantly fail (myself included). That is how we glorify God, by loving Him and our neighbors regardless of how others treat us. God bless. And thank you for bringing this up.

Nowhere does the Bible ever talk about unconditional love.
God's love always has conditions.
Ex.: would it be love to give your money to a drug addict/drunk, because they are homeless?
Would you rather not help them if they had shown a desire to change by not using/drinking?
To wantonly love is as the 12 steppers say "enabling".
It is wrong to reinforce self destructive behavior with unconditional love.
The Bible is full of exhortations to stop doing what is bad and turn to doing good.
So any Christian that promotes the concept of unconditional love is taking a stand against God.
Hello Christians that think Gods' love is unconditional, Jesus sacrifice has conditions: 1. Accept the sacrifice. 2. Do the will of God. 3. Stop sinning. 4. Preach the good news of Gods Kingdom. 5. Make disciples. Among others.

Love all you want. Chrisitanity has always been forceful, thus hateful--with a false sense of love. It's silly to believe in things you cannot see, but sooooooooooooo many people seem stuck to it.
To all the "saviors" out there--save your story. Are you so close-minded to think that people on the other side of the world don't have other beliefs which they feel equally as valid?
Love is not dangerous, but belief systems are the same things that spark wars, terrorism, and arrogant "saviors". I think the best way to conquer evil is to drop religion.

We believe in true Unconditional Love, but we can never understand it. It is a concept that we never quite get. It is one of those concepts that we know about and we hear and feel, but never quite get because it is a God thing and not a human thing. We can continue to strive towards true unconditional love, but we will miss the mark every single time.

In our flesh there will never be unconditional love, no matter how hard we strive, rely on God, etc., et al; because we are not capable of such perfection. We may think we are being unconditional in our love, but that in and of itself is placing a condition upon the love. Just as we can accept thanks for humility or we have lost being humble.

Make your self a verify record. Does my like to Christ take position in strong deeds, or do I pity myself? Do I truly have supernatural excitement and peace, which could no longer circumstantial, yet consists of me by each day? Do i respect those "self righteous Christians", like Jesus loves each and absolutely everyone, or do i'm getting hateful and bitter on existence? Do I truly have victory over sin, pretty undemanding sin, or do I in indifference, merely provide in each and every time? in case you actually are in Christ you're positionally suitable for God. He does no longer see you, He see in person-friendly words Jesus. Repentance and sanctification is significant to change into extra Christ like. replenish with the be conscious as a lot as accessible as which will sanctify your ideas. MIMI

Not just Christian should. Even if you are not a Christian there are some great things that the bible has to say when it comes to how we should live. That verse is one of many. And you shouldn't have to do it because the bible tells you to but because it is what you and everyone else deserves.

Through practice and the teachings that Jesus left for us in the Bible hopefully we can grow to be more like Jesus in that respect. Only when Jesus comes back and takes us from this sinful earth will we truly know Agape Love.

To hear most Christians talk, I get the impression they don't believe in love at all -- only in obeying the rules (whatever the rules may be).

Love conquers many evils but not all. Wars are not about christianty but power. I truly believe we should love our brother as ourselves and do unto others as we would have them do to us.

Yes without a shadow of a doubt!
1Jo 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
In Christ in Love,
