A. Christian parents who teach their children that that god will love them and forgive them for almost ANYTHING THEY DO(including murder, rape, ect.)
B. Atheists parents who teach their children that they are expected to have a high standard of behavior because the better you treat people, the better you feel about yourself.

A. And I'll tell you why. Christian parents teach their children that they will be forgiven, but that as Christians they know the difference between right and wrong and are expected to have a high standard of behavior. And Christian children are expected to treat people well, because they are all created by God.

Christian Parents. God will forgive you, but Christian parents ALSO stress for their kids to have high standards of behavior and that the better you treat people, the better you feel about yourself. Also, the Bible says thou shall not kill...etc. and Christian parents teach the Bible and they stress the laws of God that are in it. We teach our children that they will be judged for all wrongdoing one day by God. With that said it seems like a Christian has more reason to not do wrong than somebody that was taught that it just makes you feel good to not do bad things.

I am a non Christian who has a lot of criticism against Christianity, but I consider this question unfair. The premise is valid (that being saved or whatever is more important than morality), but the wording is very biased. Christians are taught that the past is forgiven, if they are genuinely sorry for the wrong they've done; to my knowledge Christianity doesn't teach it's okay to do what you like as long as you're baptized or saved, whatever.
The best parents imo are the ones who encourage their kids to explore all religions with an open mind and decide for themselves if any or none has value.

You are looking at this from a finite standpoint instead of the eternal...being an Atheist.
A. Eternal Security is (in my opinion and study)a hugely wrong teaching amongst the church. That is between them and God. I for one would NEVER slap my Salvation in the Face by continuing in the sins that He saved me from.
B. They have never accepted Salvation to begin with.
At least, in the Christian family the children still have the Word of God and can perhaps have the Light shed on them before Judgement.

Christian parents that teach their children right from wrong from the start, but that NO ONE is perfect, and that because of grace, God will always forgive them. But they still must be taught that there are consequences for wrong behavior.

Christian parents. Because they don't just teach their children that no matter you do God will forgive you. They also teach that no matter what you shouldn't sin because there be sivere concequenes and it's just plain wrong to sin. But, they do also teach that even when you do sin God will forgive you no matter what. He will still punish you, but he will forgive you and love you.

Let's go with C. Parents who teach their children the rights and wrongs of living in the current society and allowing the children to decide for themselves and live with the consequences of their decision.

As a Christian Pastor I know that if you commit murder you should spend the rest of your life in jail.
if you commit rape you should spend a lot of time, 20, 30 years behind bars.
Commit these things and you will pay the physical penalty for it, and you should.
Jesus will forgive and save your immortal soul.
Christian parenting is the best .
But then that my opinion.
