I just noticed that everytime there is a question about anything regarding Islam and Muslims, there is always swearing and harrasement about muslims. Why we never see the obosite, i mean Muslims swearing about christians. Why dont you show some respects to other people believes. I bet you just go to any question that have anything about Islam and you will see what i mean.

Has anyone kept track of this and put this information in a database.

Does praying in the name of Jesus yield higher results then praying to Allah?

Has anyone prayed for something in the name of jim_darwin? What was the result? Did I grant you your prayer?

Did he gain knowledge of all good and all evil or just some good and some evil.

He obviously didn't just gain the ability to discern the two or it would have been called the tree of discernment of good and evil.

A common thing you hear is people saying "I respect your right to have an opinion." Sometimes you even hear "I respect your opinion."

I do respect people's right and freedom to have an opinion and have a religion. I respect it as a human right. But I DON'T respect their religion itself. I have respect for the ownership of an opinion but extreme disrespect for the opinion itself, if it's a religion with which I disagree. Religion is a very negative force in the world, and I don't respect it, especially Christianity. How can anyone have any respect for such a gloomy and negative religion as Xtianity?

God saves some, damns others. Analogy: If you had 1 million kids, would you love some of them and hate some? Or would you love them all? Or hate them all? As a human mother or father you'd love every one of 'em, and you would not condemn any of them to everlasting pain. Why should God be any different? Aren't we made in his image?

It's dealing with people who said that gentile Christians needed to be circumcised based on God's covenant w/ Abraham in Gen 17 where God basically told him to circumcise everyone in his group.

Instead of saying something like 'Well that was the Old Covenant and this is the New Covenant,' he goes into this convaluted arguement about how even though God says to circumcise all these people we don't really need to be since ol' Abe was declared righteous before being circumcised.

It's the type of thing that, if it wasn't written by Paul I'd be like, "er...you can't really do that with scripture dude." Any ideas?

Do you believe in god because you cant deal with the fact that when you die there is no after life.
The fact that death is like sleep that you wont wake up from scares you so you made up a story about a higher power that will give you life again .
Through out history society & culture's created religion's so what makes yours so true?

I've had a rash of PMs lately basically saying "everyone is entitled to their opinion" on factual matters. One topic was whether or not the Bible discusses an angelic conflict. Another regarded whether or not Jesus existed as a man. In both cases, the person I conversed with resorted to claiming it's a matter of opinion. But it isn't! Matters of fact are certainly open to conflicting positions in cases where evidence allows for multiple positions, but they aren't open to arbitrarily selecting a position just because you like it.

Why does this mentality seem to be so pervasive? Is society really losing all ability to reason?

How many of you have actually taken a comparative religion course, or course (outside of your mosque, synagogue, or church, etc) about another religion, simply to learn? Or compare? Or at least understand?

Why does the thought of simply learning about other religions scare people so much? Why is knowledge threatening?

a false prophet and we are supposed to recognize him by his fruits? If so...
Well, it is good that you are careful not to accept any one as a prophet and one way to find out is to see the fruits. Obviously, you can not tell by the followers or if you look at Hitler or the KKK, Christianity is evil. So I will just tell you one story among millions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The Prophet (SAW) used to go to prayer daily, and there was a Jewish man who would through pig intestines and other trash on the Prophet (SAW) as he passed by. The Prophet's (SAW) wanted to kill the Jewish man, but the Prophet (SAW) would prevent them and would only smile. (The Prophet (SAW) also said even a smile can be charity). Days came and went, until one day when the Prophet (SAW) passed by, the Jewish man was not there to throw trash on him. The Prophet (SAW) became worried and went to his house. The Jewish man's wife was worried at the site of the Prophet (SAW) and asked his concern. The Prophet (SAW) said
