They look fairly interesting. I'm not a devout Christian or anything, I just love apocalypse tales (The Stand is still one of my favourite books), and the Rapture would probably fit into that category. I've just never gotten around to it.

I truly like the "Left Behind " series it is a way to understand Revelations in an easier manner, and it sheds alot of light on the truth of what is too come. It is great for children to help them understand all of these events . Alomost everyone of my 9 children have seen it. They were not scared but learned from the movies a great deal. Even my 10 year old was not afraid she asked questions about the mark of the beast and many other questions. It has helped to stimulate them to want to know the whole truth.
It makes me very sad to see that anyone would compare these awesome works with DaVinci code. That does not have enough credibility to mention. It is a full Fiction book as even the author has stated. Someone decided to try and use this Fiction book to undermine the truth about Jesus Christ and turn people away from Him. I do not believe it will work if we are strong in our faith why worry about this work of Fiction I am not. Like my pastor tells us all do not worry , do not give this works the time of day. It was meant to be as God controls all that happens it will hopefully help more people come to Christ than drive them away, as they search for the truth.

The original 12 books were a good read and it was interesting to see how they interpretted the book of Revelation.

With that said, I think the new series is just a way for them to capitalize on the success of the original and make some more money.

No. Like "The DaVinci Code," the "Left Behind" books are works of fiction, but they claim to be religiously accurate. There are many places where the truth of the Scriptures is "left behind," and the authors' false teachings come through.

Not really. I used to be. That is until I realized that it is nothing more than a scare tactic to try and get unbelievers to believe and it gives Christians the tools to imagine a scary place that they can use to scare people into believing. It's a great work of fiction, just like the Da Vinci Code, but it is by NO means real.

No way. I do not believe in fiction but I deal in fact. What God says is true but what some want to make up is just what Satan ordered to get a lot of unsuspecting people to believe a lie so he can have them. Read the bible and you will see the series is all a bunch of fiction.

I am a fan of the "Left Behind" series because I love the subject matter and I found the storyline to be quite good.

However, I always urge readers to use caution: you are presented with the authors' view of pre- and post-Rapture events, some of which (in my modest opinion) are not correct interpretations of scriptural references. (Please note, I'm not saying there were unscriptural references; I'm saying I disagree with how some scriptures were interpreted.)

No, the Rapture theory is false and can be deceiving. It wasn't even thought up until the 18 hundreds. If it were true, how did it miss the sight of millions of devote Christians for 1800 years?

I really enjoyed those books.
It shows you what the Bible says about the rapture and the tribulation. It is taken straight out of the Bible and is easier to understand how things will happen. A lot easier then reading Revelations. To me anyway.
