I am a ministor of the Word. I am active in many forms of the ministry. I have stood before Hells Angles MC to the pulpit in the church. I take Jesus everywhere I go.

I do both. Some days I just go to church for the message and to get refreshed for the week, and sometimes I go and help out with the kids. I love getting to know more of the kids that go to my church and I get to be friends with more people that way too. Another thing my church does during the summer is a barbeque every Sunday after the service, called the Burger Thing. I work at that whenever they need help as well. I also counsel at church camps, but that's mostly just fun. I think it's a good balance, and I like being involved.

"Church" does not exist in a "place". God's church is everywhere, not in a building, so when you ask "Do you just go to church to hear a message and then go home, or are you involved in helping out in the church?" you have missed the point. The point is whether you are a good person to allpeople at all times, or do you put on your "Sunday Best" and then act like a jerk in the rest of your life?

What about volunteering at a camp? Camp Ta-Pa-Win-pass in Tennessee, for instance, on spring wreck. keep in recommendations all of us have skills that the Lord has given us and we are to apply them for the Lord's glory. no longer each individual can feed the hungry or those issues listed above. each from time to time the flaws human beings do for the Lord are in the back of the scenes. Like those those who practice dinner the nutrition, freshen up Church parking plenty, or something else. no longer all issues are considered yet those issues are known by the Lord, and could nevertheless be rewarded. So do not imagine 1 service is continually extra significant then yet another.

Since Mormons have a lay (non--paid) ministry almost everyone is involved. Even our services involve more than the Bishop as members are the ones usually who give the talks ( sermons). . It's really nice because you really get to know your religion when you are part of the process.

I was once involved very heavily now I attend services however I am not a teacher or a Director , or Pastor I believe we are called during our life by God's Holy Spirit to act in these capacities. At this time I am not called to service other than to be a witness to Christ's love and the power of God over the other powers and principalities of this world.

Yes, all of Jehovah's people do! It is what Jesus said to do.
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
