Why do Liberals and Democrats think ony Conservatives and Republicans are Christians. Can you be a Democrat and still be a Christian?

I learned about this practice from a class I took called the Cult Controversy. You would be amazed at what people do in the name of religion. In short this practice that girls of the cult Children of God used to convert males that were often meet at bars. If they had to have sex with these men to save their soul/gain a convert, they often did exactly that.

When parents teach children to believe in a religion, they have the choice to reject it when they mature. However, by being indoctrinated, it becomes more difficult (especially in very devout and fanatical sects) to reject the religion. There are several reasons; rejecting a religion in more devout sects entails severe emotional, social, spiritual, and even financial consequences (disinheritance for instance!). Therefore that child can not be said to have genuine freedom of religion, as they are coerced into their so-called faith. One could tentatively say (and I say tentative to avoid abuse reports) that under coercion, faith can be interpreted as a rationalizing defense mechanism. On the other hand, so long as they live in a country with freedom of religion, they technically do have the legal right to make their own decision. Is this considered sufficient?

(Two Parts)

I.

Consider this:
God is Omnipotent (Can do anything, All powerful).
God is Omnipresent (Everywhere).

This being the case, Do you wonder if God is on the other side of your monitor asking and answering questions in this forum?

I ask this question, because in a recent answer I viewed, the responder said, You are not God...." and then went on with the normal "you have no right to judge others, yada yada yada..."

II.

In asking this question am I questioning God's Will?

Why would we have been created, just to be judged and sent to hell if we don't repent for whatever it is we did. I never asked to be born, I never asked to be human even. Had I never been born, I wouldn't have to ever worry about anything of the sort, because I wouldn't exist. So just because I exist I have to repent for something? It seems like a really stupid concept to me and extremely unfair and cruel. You wouldn't get a cat and tell it, if you do anything wrong, I'm sending you to a room full of dogs with rabbies. That cat never asked to be there and yet it would be judged just the same way.

If you can extract my question out of that, that'd be great because I'm not sure how else I can ask the question.

(Please no preaching, no bible quotes, no jesus quotes, I want real logical answers about it)

This is actually a take off on an old Sam Kinson joke. If Jesus came back wouldn't he traumatized or at least offended to see the vehicle of his execution? I'm sure many wear the cross with good intention, but still, it's got to make you wonder.

Well over half of their religion was ripped off of Pagan religions, theologists have discoved thousands of translational errors in the bible, some of their leaders were the most corrupt people in history (Borgia!), and it's been the excuse for persecution of millions of innocent people since it all started! And their religion is one of love and peace?Yeah, whatever.

I can understand why some people have disagreements with Christian people, but what about the Christian message is so offensive?

Many non-muslims (especially westerners ) feel that Islam is "backward" or promotes terrorism. Don't you know that the number system that you use in your everyday life " 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 " was invented (and each letter designed ) by muslims. Don't you know that the Quran (muslim holy book ) has the knowledgeof Biology, Physics, Geoography, astronomy - that was extracted by great scientists of the world.
